Favorite Sport (and why): "My favorite sport is track and field because it has both the aspects of a team and individual sport. All of my work in and out of the season is to make myself better and to help myself compete. But, then it also comes together with the rest of my teammates in order for us to compete in relays and in overall team scores."

Best Part of High School Sports: "Getting to see a different side of your teammates on and off the court and also meeting people from the schools you compete against."

Best Advice from a High School Coach: "My throwing coach always tells me not to give myself the “I Suck speech” because all I need is one good throw. That throwing is a unique event because I can forget about the previous throws and just focus on my performance and what I need to do for the next one."

Most Memorable Moment in High School Sports: "Winning two state championships in the shot put my sophomore and junior year. I was able to accomplish something that no one in our schools history has ever done."

Best Part of Playing Three Sports: "Getting to experience the different type of competition and training that each sport brings. I also enjoy being able to compete with and against different athletes all year around."

Toughest Part of Playing Three Sports: "Being busy all year around and trying to improve my game in all three sports."

Favorite Opponent: "The Freedom Irish. They are our schools biggest rivalry and no matter what sport, there is good competition and a big crowd there to support both teams."

Favorite Professional Team: Green Bay Packers

Favorite Professional Athlete: Jordy Nelson

Favorite College Team: Wisconsin Men’s Basketball

Cumulative GPA: 3.93

Toughest Individual You’ve Competed Against: "Katie Taylor of Hayward. Even though I only saw her at the state track meet, I was always aware of her performances throughout the year. We were always beating each other’s PR’s in the shot put and she was always the one I had to worry about in the state finals."

Most Admired High School Teammate: "Abbie Botz. She was a great role model for me when I was pulled up to varsity basketball as a freshman. She taught me how to work hard in and out of the season in order to compete in every sport that I am in. Abbie was also a part of my 4x400 relay team that broke our school record and made me enjoy running the 400 as much as anyone could."

College Plans: "I will be attending the University of Minnesota to pursue a degree in the health field while also competing in Track and Field as a thrower."

Activities Outside of Sports: "I am a member of Student Council, Earth Club, and Youth Mentoring Program. I also help run youth camps for volleyball, basketball, and track."

I Find it Relaxing to: "Hang out with friends and watch movies."
