Below are the PlayInTheDells.com Athlete of the Week Nominees for the week of February 13 through 19. Voting is open until Thursday at 4pm, so be sure to vote for who you feel is most deserving and spread the word. Users may vote once per day.

PlayInTheDells.com Athlete of the Week Nominees: February 13-19

Sidney Cooks, Kenosha St. Joseph girls basketball: Cooks scored a career-high 46 points in the Lancers 78-59 victory against Racine Case on Wednesday. On Tuesday, she finished with 34 points in a 63-32 win over Racine St. Catherine's. In a 69-63 loss to Metro Classic champion Martin Luther on Saturday, Sidney tallied 24 points. The senior and Michigan State recruit is averaging 27.1 points, 14.2 rebounds, 2.8 assists, and 2.5 blocks per game for the Lancers (15-7 overall, 12-4 in Metro Classic). 

Caiden Haake, Alma/Pepin boys basketball: Haake scored 40 points in a 75-44 win against Independence on Tuesday. He also posted 34 points in a 64-40 victory over Gilmanton on Friday and 30 points in Alma/Pepin's 72-48 win against Blair-Taylor on Tuesday. Haake, a senior, is averaging 28.6 points, 11.8 rebounds, and 2 assists per game for Alma/Pepin (16-4 overall, 10-3 in Dairyland-Small). 

Abby Klimek, McDonell Central girls basketball: Klimek scored a game-high 13 points in the Macks win over D5 No. 6 Loyal, 57-51, in a Cloverbelt Crossover contest on Saturday. In their 54-28 win against Thorp on Monday, Abby tallied 5 points. Klimek, a senior, is averaging 9.8 points per game for the McDonell Central, ranked No. 7 in the Division 5 WisSports.net Coaches Poll. The Macks enter the postseason with a 19-3 overall record and finished second in the Cloverbelt-West (12-2). 

Jaylen Mahone, Laconia boys basketball: Mahone scored a career-high 38 points in Laconia's 73-69 triple overtime win against St. Mary's Springs, which clinched the Flyway title for the Spartans. Jaylen also contributed 6 rebounds and 2 assists in the win. On Tuesday, Mahone scored 13 points in their 49-38 win against Lomira. The junior is averaging 16.1 points, 5.1 rebounds, and 2.6 assists per game for the Spartans (16-4 overall, 11-0 in Flyway). 

Cassidy Maroszek, Wisconsin Valley Lutheran girls basketball: Maroszek scored a school-record 39 points in a 70-63 win against Stockbridge on Friday. In a 41-33 loss to Northland Lutheran on Monday, she finished with 19 points. Maroszek, a sophomore, is averaging 18.7 points, 6.7 rebounds, 4.8 assists, and 5.3 steals per game for the Wolves (6-12 overall).
