Below are the PlayInTheDells.com Athlete of the Week Nominees for the week of March 6 through 12. Voting is open until Thursday at 4pm, so be sure to vote for who you feel is most deserving and spread the word. Users may vote once per day.

PlayInTheDells.com Athlete of the Week Nominees: March 6-12

Drew Blair, Stevens Point boys basketball: Blair scored 33 points in the Panthers upset win over previously unbeaten Oshkosh North, 76-61, in a Division 1 sectional final. The junior tallied 12 points in a 62-55 victory against Eau Claire North in a sectional semi-final. Blair is averaging 19.5 points per game for Stevens Point who face Madison Memorial in a D1 state semi-final on Friday at the Kohl Center. 

Estella Moschkau, Madison Edgewood girls basketball: Moschkau was named co-Miss Basketball by the WBCA and led the Crusaders to their first state title in program history, takign home the Gold Ball in Division 3. In Edgewood's 51-30 win over Martin Luther in the D3 state championship game, she finished with 20 points and 7 rebounds. The Stanford recruit tallied 13 points, 10 rebounds, 5 assists, 2 steals and 3 blocks in the Crusaders 60-38 victory against Wrightstown in a state semi-final. 

Karsyn Rueth, Loyal girls basketball: Rueth helped the Greyhounds overcome a 13-points deficit in the second half to defeat Milwaukee Academy of Science, 74-61, in the Division 5 state championship game, their first title in program history. The UW-Oshkosh recruit finished with 25 points, 9 rebounds and 3 assists in the win. In the Greyhounds 44-24 win over Bangor in a D5 state semi-final, Rueth tallied 11 points, 9 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 steals. 

Cassidy Trotter, Beaver Dam girls basketball: Trotter led the Golden Beavers to their first state title in program history on Saturday. She finished with 8 points, 4 rebounds, 4 assists and 6 steals in a 52-33 win over Cudahy in the D2 state championship game. The Michigan Tech recruit finished with 23 points, 7 rebounds, 2 assists and 4 steals in the Golden Beavers victory against Monroe in a state semi-final. 

Noah Wand, Shullsburg boys basketball: Wand hit the game-winning three-pointer with 1.5 seconds remaining to propel the Miners to the state tournament for the second time in program history, defeating Bangor 60-58 in a Division 5 sectional final. The Edgewood College recruit is averaging 11.3 points per game for Shullsburg who will play McDonell Central in a D5 state semi-final at the Kohl Center on Friday.
