Below are the PlayInTheDells.com Athlete of the Week Nominees for the week of March 20 through 26. Voting is open until Thursday at 4pm, so be sure to vote for who you feel is most deserving and spread the word. Users may vote once per day.

PlayInTheDells.com Athlete of the Week Nominees: March 20-26

Kyra Arendt, Bloomer girls track & field: Arendt set two individual meet records at the Northern Badger Classic on Saturday at UW-Stout. She won the long jump with a jump of 17 feet and 7 inches, beating the previous record of 17-01. The senior finished first in the triple jump (39-01), beating the previous record of 37-05. Arendt, a UW-Milwaukee recruit, notched the 9th best triple jump in state history on Saturday. 

Amanda Miller, Brookfield Central girls track & field: Miller helped the Lancers capture the Doug Johnson Invite at West Allis Central. Miller, a senior, finished first in the 200-meter dash in 28.04 seconds and ran a leg of the winning 4x240 relay (2:17.42). 

Sam Pinkowski, La Crosse Central boys track & field: Pinkowski won two events and helped the Red Raiders win the All American Invitational held at UW-River Falls on Saturday. Pinkowski set a meet record in the 3,200-meter run (9:30.58), besting the previous record of 9:39.92. The senior also finished first in the 1,600-meter run with a time of 4:22.34. 

Colton VanderBerg, Milwaukee Lutheran boys track & field: VanderBerg helped the Red Knights win the Chris Wilson Invite on Saturday. The junior finished first in the 400-meter dash, 57.53, and ran a leg of the winning 1,600-meter relay (3:53.76). 

Rhianna Walzer, Lodi girls track & field: Walzer won three events and helped the Blue Devils finish second at the Tri-State Small School Invite at UW-Platteville on Saturday. The sophomore won the 55-meter dash (7.64), 200-meter dash (27.08), and set a meet record in the 400 with a time of 1:01.05 (previous record was 1:01.30).
