Milwaukee King sophomore Makayla Jackson has been selected as the PlayInTheDells.com Athlete of the Week after a vote on WisSports.net. 

There were 5,282 votes this week; Jackson received 1,943, while Marinette's Lily Pomplun finished second with 1,828 votes. 

Jackson was named the female athlete of the meet at the UW-Whitewater Indoor Championships. Jackson finished first in the 55-meter dash (7.05), first in the long jump (18 feet, 8 inches), and ran of leg of the winning 4x200 meter relay (1:43.37).
