Hurley senior Dante Bender has been selected as the PlayInTheDells.com Athlete of the Week for the week of April 10 through the 16 after a vote on WisSports.net. 

There were 2,851 votes this week; Bender received 1,216 of them, while Waunakee's L.O. Johnson finished second with 1,099 votes. 

Bender tossed a complete game three-hitter and tallied 10 strikeouts in Hurley's 9-1 win over Washburn last Thursday. Dante also went 4-for-4 at the plate with 2 doubles, 2 runs, and a stolen base. 

Hurley is 4-4 overall and 3-1 in the Indianhead so far this season.
