Ok, so technically it wasn't a comeback, but it did require a rally, and probably a few energy drinks along the way. Over 13 1/2 innings last Friday, neither the Menasha nor New London baseball pitching staffs would budge, holding the opposing offenses in check. Sure, they sprinkled a few hits here and there, but no runs had crossed the plate.

Dalton Knaack, who went 3-for-6 on the day, led off the bottom of the 14th inning with a double for Menasha, and the Bluejays finally had a chance to end what had become two games' worth of innings.

Jake Zwerg delivered, knocking a game-winning single to drive in Knaack as Menasha escaped with a 1-0 walk-off victory.

Despite the new pitch count regulations, Ben Romnek was extremely efficient on the mound for Menasha, pitching 10 innings to start the game, scattering six hits. Caleb Dohms came in for the final four innings to score the win.
