Favorite Sport (and why): "Although I am going to play college basketball I would say my favorite sport is football. Ever since I was a little girl I have loved the game and everything about it. Football is like life because it requires perseverance, hard work, sacrifice, dedication, and respect which are all valuable to one’s success in life."

Best Part of High School Sports: "My teammates becoming my family. You'll forget the plays, the shots, and the scores, but you'll never forget your teammates. The bonds I formed will be some of the greatest relationships in my life. My best friends at Newman are the people I play sports with and I wouldn't have made it through these four years without them."

Best Advice from a High School Coach: “You got to put the ball in the hole.” -- Coach Weinkauf

Most Memorable Moment in High School Sports: "Catching my first varsity touchdown pass against Greenwood. After playing football since I was in kindergarten it was the greatest feeling in the world to know that even though I am a girl I can do anything I put my mind to and it was the best decision I have ever made not to give up something I love."

Best Part of Playing Three Sports: "Personally, I can't imagine my life without football, basketball, and softball; I never would have made it through these four years without them. The best part of playing three sports is that it forced me to face challenges and push myself harder than I ever thought possible. These sports have always been a part of me and I couldn't imagine my life without the 6 am workouts, sprints, and bear crawls in 90 degree heat."

Toughest Part of Playing Three Sports: "Being able to balance academics and extra circulars while practicing and training for each sport."

Favorite Opponent: "Assumption because they are Newman’s main rivalry. For four years every time I stepped on that field, court, or diamond there was an incredible atmosphere and an intensity level which cannot be described."

Favorite Professional Team: Cleveland Cavaliers

Favorite Professional Athlete: LeBron James or Cam Newton

Favorite College Team: Michigan State Spartans

Cumulative GPA: 4.0

Toughest Individual You’ve Competed Against: "Gena Grundhoffer of Assumption, I played her in basketball for three years. Every time we competed it was a battle and she pushed me to become a better player."

Most Admired High School Teammate: "Abby Connolly because not only did she push me to be a better player on the court but she pushed me to be a better student and a more well-rounded individual."

College Plans: "Attending Minnesota State University Moorhead on a basketball scholarship."

Activities Outside of Sports: "Skiing, National Honors Society, President of Student Council, Student Ambassador, Wausau Rotary Club Uthroater, Pep Club and Key Club."

I Find it Relaxing to: "Vacation with my family, hangout with my friends, listen to music, and watch sports."
