Below are the PlayInTheDells.com Athlete of the Week Nominees for the week of May 15 through 21. Voting is open until Thursday at 4pm, so be sure to vote for who you feel is most deserving and spread the word. Users may vote once per day.

PlayInTheDells.com Athlete of the Week Nominees: May 15-21

Alicia Balken, North Fond du Lac/Oakfield girls soccer: Balken scored 5 goals in a 7-3 win over Lomira on Friday. She tallied 2 goals in a victory against Wautoma, 5-1, and scored a pair of goals in a 2-2 tie against St. Mary's Springs. 

David Dunlap, Nicolet boys track & field: Dunlap finished first in the 100 meter dash (10.58) and 200 meter dash (21.32), while also winning a leg of the winning 400 meter relay (41.65) at the North Shore meet on Tuesday. All three times are the best in the state this season. 

Ryan Wickman, River Valley baseball: Wickman hit a home run in the bottom of the 6th inning to lead the Blackhawks to a 1-0 win over D2 No. 8 Prairie du Chien and earn a share of the SWC title. He also helped them defeat Richland Center 7-2 on Monday. 

Sydney Wilcox, Shiocton softball: Wilcox went 3-0 in the circle with 34 strikeouts, while allowing just 5 hits and 0 earned runs. She finished with 15 strikeouts in a 6-0 win over Amherst and hit 2 home runs and tallied 3 RBI. In a 7-0 win over Manawa, Sydney allowed just 1 hit and finished with 11 strikeouts. Wilcox also tallied 8 strikeouts in Shiocton's 1-0 win over D3 No. 7 Weyauwega-Fremont. 

McKenzie Winker, Holmen softball: Winker went 5-for-5 with 4 home runs, 7 RBI, and 5 runs scored in a 22-11 win over Luther on Monday. She also helped the Vikings to wins over Tomah (11-2) and Aquinas (4-3).
