Favorite Sport (and why): "My favorite sport is basketball because a basketball court is where I feel most at home, and it is the one place on earth I can be myself. The passion and dedication I have for this sport cannot be compared to anyone else's. It helped me realized that anything is possible if you just believe, work hard, and push yourself to be best athlete you can be."

Best Part of High School Sports: "Going to state in triple jump and girls basketball."

Best Advice from a High School Coach: “Run to the Roar.”- Coach Bob Maronde. "This quote means that you don’t back down from anyone just because of their statistics, how many games they won, or if the odds are against you. Play every game like it’s your last time."

Most Memorable Moment in High School Sports: "Playing at the state basketball tournament with the best teammates and coaches a player could ask for. We went against all odds and believed in our team."

Best Part of Playing Three Sports: "The best part about playing three sports is that it keeps you on your toes and helps with with the next. Volleyball helps with your vertical jump and getting low, basketball helps you condition and get more coordinated, and track keeps you in shape and helps with jumping
form. They all tie into each other."

Toughest Part of Playing Three Sports: "Balancing school work and sports is very tough because sometimes I don’t start my homework until eight o’clock at night. You have to manage your time well and have responsibility when it comes to doing school work. You’re a student before an athlete."
