Senior Softball Awards: Infielder/Catcher Finalists

Wisconsin Sports Network is proud to showcase the WSN Senior Softball Awards

The pre-season watch list has been trimmed down to five finalists. Winners are announced the week of the softball state tournament.

WSN Senior Softball Awards -- Infielder/Catcher Finalists:

Katie Crogan, Watertown: Crogan is hitting .551 with 8 home runs, 40 RBI, and 28 runs scored. She also has hit 10 doubles and is carrying a .987 slugging percentage. Katie has walked 10 times this season and struck out just 5 times. Watertown faces top-ranked and undefeated Oshkosh North tonight in a Division 1 sectional final. 

Shaye Gauthier, Oshkosh North: Gauthier is hitting .611 with 32 RBI and 24 runs scored for top-ranked and undefeated Oshkosh North. She has hit 2 home runs and 16 doubles while carrying a .917 slugging percentage. The Spartans face Watertown in a Division 1 sectional final today. 

Tori Golden, Oak Creek: Golden is hitting .486 with 40 RBI and 48 runs scores. She also had 4 home runs, 20 doubles, and 4 triples while carrying a .853 slugging percentage. Oak Creek (27-1) plays Kenosha Bradford/Reuther in a Division 1 sectional final today. 

Kallista Hribar, Union Grove: Hribar has a state-high 17 home runs and carried a .658 batting average and 1.562 slugging percentage. She finished the year with 31 RBI and 40 runs; hit 11 doubles and 2 triples, while striking out just once and stealing 16 bases. 

Haley Radewan, Poynette: Radewan hit .530 with 5 home runs, 49 RBI, and 47 runs scored for the Pumas, who finished the year with a 26-2 record. She also tallied 16 doubles and 5 triples and carried a .950 slugging percentage.
