Kaukauna's Haley Hestekin has been selected as the top senior pitcher as part the WSN Senior Softball Awards.
Hestekin, co-FVA Player of the Year, is 23-2 with a 0.41 ERA and 161 strikeouts in 136 innings pitched for the Ghosts.
At the plate, Haley is hitting .360 with 5 doubles, 21 RBI, and 12 runs scored in 86 at bats, while striking out just once.
The University of Wisconsin recruit has three no-hitters and 14 shutouts, to go along with a 0.48 WHIP.
In a Division 1 sectional final victory against Pulaski, 2-0, she twirled a no-hitter with 11 strikeouts and hit a 2-run home run.
Both of Hestekin's losses came against top-ranked Oshkosh North; 1-0 the first time and 5-0 in the second loss.
She avenged those losses by defeating Oshkosh North 2-0 in a Division 1 state quarterfinal at Goodman Diamond in Madison.
For her career, Hestekin is 65-6 with a 0.47 ERA. Last season, she earned second team WFSCA all-state.
Kaukauna faces conference foe Oshkosh North in a Division 1 quarterfinal on Thursday at 12:30 p.m.
Finalists for the award were Hestekin, Kettle Moraine's Sommer Kunstmann, Pulaski's Liz Pautz, Laconia's Kayla Schwebke, and Shiocton's Sydney Wilcox.
