Union Grove's Kallista Hribar has been selected as the top senior infielder/catcher as part of the WSN Senior Softball Awards.
Hribar was named Southern Lakes Player of the Year. She hit a state-best 17 home runs while carrying a .658 batting average, 1.562 slugging percentage, and 2.253 OPS.
She finished the year with 31 RBI and 40 runs; hit 11 doubles and 2 triples, while walking 7 times and striking out just once.
Kallista also went 16-for-16 on stolen base attempts.
As a junior, she helped the Broncos reach the state tournament and was named second team WFSCA all-state catcher.
Hribar will continue her softball career at Lakewood Community College, an NJCAA Division II program in Kirtland, Ohio.
Union Grove finished the year with a 10-14 record. Their season ended with a 2-1 loss to Wilmot, who will play in a Division 1 state semi-final, in a regional final.
Finalists for the award were Hribar, Watertown's Katie Crogan, Oshkosh North's Shaye Gauthier, Oak Creek's Tori Golden, and Poynette's Haley Radewan.
