Sun Prairie's Alyssa Blair has been selected as the top senior outfielder as part of the WSN Senior Softball Awards.
Blair was named first team all-Big Eight and hit .489 with 32 RBI and 38 runs scored for the Cardinals.
She finished the year with 6 triples, 4 doubles, and a home run, while carrying a .696 slugging percentage and 1.175 OPS.
The centerfielder had over 20 putouts and has committed just 2 errors in over 90 chances, giving her a .950 fielding percentage.
Blair helped the Cardinals capture a share of the Big Eight title and Division 1 state tournament appearance.
In a 10-5 sectional final win over Holmen, Alyssa went 2-for-4 with an RBI.
Sun Prairie fell to defending state champion Stevens Point, 6-0, in a state quarterfinal; the Cardinals finished the year with a 23-4 record.
Finalists for the award were Blair, Delavan-Darien's Morgyn DeLara, Southwestern's Katie Fritz, Shawano's Saige Henning, and Ashwaubenon's Morgan Zirbel.
