Juda/Albany's Sara Jordan has been selected as the PlayInTheDells.com Athlete of the Week for the week of June 5 through 11 after a vote on WisSports.net.

There were 1,331 votes this week; Jordan received 528 of them, while Kayla Schwebke finished second with 399 votes.

The Juda/Albany co-op program won its first state championship on Saturday, taking down Pacelli 2-1 in the D4 title game.

Jordan had one of the RBI in that contest, plating Alexis Goecks on a third-inning single. In a 13-4 victory against Phillips in the semi-finals, Jordan went three-for-four with three runs scored and an RBI. She recorded a steal in both games.
