Friday night was a special one for the Hudson Raiders football team, as the school unveiled its new stadium complete with artificial turf.

It appeared the home fans would go home happy, as Hudson went up 21-7 on Stevens Point on an Easton Belland fumble return for a touchdown near the end of the third quarter.

The fourth quarter belong to Stevens Point however. Colton Kizewski, who would finish with 211 yards and three scores, went for a pair of short touchdown runs in the fourth quarter. The last one came with 4:20 remaining in the game, but the two-point conversion attempt was unsuccessful, leaving SPASH trailing 21-20.

The Panthers' defense got a stop and the offense took over with 2:33 remaining. Stevens Point would march down within striking distance, and Keondre Porter nailed a 33-yard field goal with just ten seconds remaining as SPASH scored a 23-21 win.

It was an outstanding bounce-back performance by Stevens Point, who was hammered 38-6 by Neenah in Week 1.
