Marshaun Bell of Kenosha Bradford has been selected as the Week 2 Player of the Week following a statewide vote on WisSports.net. Bell scored the game-winning touchdown in the final seconds to help the Red Devils over Badger. He was chosen from a strong group of nominees in Week 2. A total of 4,703 votes were cast, as Bell's 1,905 were enough to edge second place Zayne Rodencal of Fox Valley Lutheran, who tallied 1,882.

Bradford is a very talented team looking to make some noise in 2017, and did just that in a thrilling 26-21 comeback victory over Badger on Friday night. The team lost Northern Illinois running back commit Erick Doke III to a season-ending injury before the year even started, but Bell has done a very good job filling in. On Friday he rushed 10 times for 116 yards and 2 touchdowns, including the game-winning, 11-yard touchdown run with ten seconds remaining.

Remember folks, the only way your favorite player can be named WisSports.net Player of the Week is to vote and share the word. Look for the Week 3 nominees to be posted Monday afternoon.
