Week 3 Team of the Week Nominees:

Clinton -- Clinton leads the state of Wisconsin in team rushing yards per game at 430, but the Cougars were even better than that on Friday. In a 48-12 domination of Big Foot, Clinton racked up 529 rushing yards and 7 touchdowns. Zach Krause led the way with 287 yards and 3 scores on 20 carries, while Jackson Nelson added 126 yards and 3 scores. As impressive as that was, the defense was just as good. The team held Big Foot to less than 200 yards of offense, limiting Big Foot's Jackson enz to just 126 yards passing and 25 rushing, just a week after he put up more than 500 total yards with 7 touchdowns accounted for.

Eau Claire Memorial -- The Old Abes went just 2-5 in the tough Big Rivers Conference last season and have a new coach for a second straight year, but there was always plenty of promise in the program. In head coach Mike Sinz's first year after moving over from Mondovi, the team is off to a 3-0 start and captured a 24-20 win in the Big Rivers Conference opener against D2 #10 Superior. Keagan Calchera threw for a pair of touchdowns, while Jack Brown rushed for 103 yards and one score, including what proved to the game-winner with 7:14 remainingin the fourth quarter.

Fond du Lac -- The Cardinals dropped a tough game to Kimberly in Week 1, but the team has not let it impact them going forward. After a dominating win over D.C. Everest in Week 2, Fondy jumped out 28-0 on undefeated and 7th-ranked Appleton North before cruising home for a 35-21 victory. Senior quarterback Jack Cole had a big game, completing 16 of 21 passes for 262 yards and 4 touchdowns.

Racine Horlick -- In a match-up of resurgent Southeast Conference schools, Kenosha Bradford led Horlick 21-7 at halftime. The second half was a different story however, as Horlick scored 17 unanswered points, culminating in a 20-yard game-winning field goal from Jack Sides with just 20 seconds remaining in a 24-21 victory. The Rebels amassed 441 yards on the ground, as three players topped the century mark: Joe Garcia (164 yards), Jager Clark (135), and George Sims (123).

Wauwatosa East -- Tosa East entered Week 3 of the high school football season with the second-longest losing streak in the state, but the Red Raiders felt confident heading into a Greater Metro Conference showdown with West Allis Hale. That confidence proved to be correct, as the team scored a 28-7 victory, snapping a 25-game losing streak dating back to September 12th, 2014. Jeremiah King rushed for 130 yards and a score, while Donavan Hunt added a pair of touchdowns on the ground plus a punt return score for the Red Raiders.
