Wisconsin Sports Network (WisSports.net) and the Wisconsin Collegiate Conference have announced a partnership that will provide expanded coverage of the WCC, its teams, and athletes on WisSports.net.

The Wisconsin Collegiate Conference (WCC) is an athletic conference made up of the thirteen two-year campuses in the University of Wisconsin System. The teams compete in soccer, volleyball, men's and women's basketball, tennis, and golf. In 2017-2018, Fox Valley Technical College was admitted as the conference's 14th member.

"Having spent three years as the head men's basketball coach at UW-Richland (2003-2006), I know the conference, its teams, and the athletes very well," said WSN General Manager Travis Wilson. "Our Content Manager, Norbert Durst, played for me one year at UW-Richland, and my two brothers as well as many friends played at the school. The WCC has always held a special place for me, and we are excited to be able to provide expanded coverage of the outstanding teams and players in the conference.

"This will also serve as an avenue to promote the league to the thousands of high school athletes that frequent our site regularly."

WSN will publish recaps for the fall soccer and girls volleyball seasons, as well as weekly articles during the men's and women's basketball season that will focus on the big news and happenings of the previous week, what to look for in the week to come, and the standout individual performances. Look for state tournament previews and recaps as well as the All-Conference lists and a season wrap-up. Graphics directing users to the WCC website will also be placed on the WSN sport home pages for boys and girls soccer, boys and girls basketball, and girls volleyball as well.

"I am looking forward to having the Wisconsin Collegiate Conference be a part of the Wisconsin Sports Network," said Wisconsin Collegiate Conference commissioner George Hayes. "I believe we have an outstanding product and we are proud to put it on display for all WSN viewers to see. We are hopeful that high school athletes who become more aware of our conference through WSN will choose our schools to pursue their education and extend their athletic careers.

"I believe the Wisconsin Sports Network provides a great opportunity for our conference and our member schools to get some outstanding exposure. WSN has a great website that many high school athletes access on a regular basis. We are excited to be a part of WSN."
