Below are the PlayInTheDells.com Athlete of the Week Nominees for the week of September 11 through 17. Voting is open until Thursday at 4pm, so be sure to vote for who you feel is most deserving and spread the word. Users may vote once per day.

PlayInTheDells.com Athlete of the Week Nominees: September 11-17

Cam Brown, Wisconsin Heights football/boys soccer: Brown helped the boys soccer team defeat La Crosse Logan, 3-0, and Holmen, 4-2, before playing football later in the day. In their football game against Phillips, Brown had a reception for 22 yards, 12 tackles, an interception, recovered an onside kick, three of his five kickoffs were touchback, and had a 40-yard punt return in the 41-40 loss. 

Alexis Dorner, Luxemburg-Casco girls volleyball: Dorner finished with 66 kills, 17 blocks, and 10 aces to help the Spartans win the 32-team UW-Oshkosh Showdown on Saturday. Dorner, a UW-Green Bay recruit, has 231 kills, 86 blocks, and 43 service aces this season. Alexis surpassed 1,000 career kills last weekend. Luxemburg-Casco went 8-0 last week and are 21-8 on the season. 

Jake Klapperich, Kaukauna boys volleyball: Klapperich helped the Ghosts finish 4-0 at the Fox Valley Association round robin tournament on Saturday; he finished with 61 assists on the day. Kaukauna is the No. 3 ranked team in the latest WBVCA Coaches Poll. 

Ivan Santiago-Cruz, Beloit Memorial boys soccer: Santiago-Cruz scored the go-ahead goal in the 79th minute and later added an assist to lead the Purple Knights past previously unbeaten Green Bay Preble, D1 No. 2, at Sun Prairie on Friday. Beloit Memorial went 4-1 last week and are now 7-3 overall. 

Skylar White, River Ridge girls volleyball: White tallied 17 kills and 3 blocks in the Timberwolves' (WVCA D4 No. 4) five-set victory against Benton (D4 No. 5) last Tuesday. White leads River Ridge with 158 kills and 161 digs this season. The Timberwolves went 4-0 in matches last week and are 14-0 on the season.
