Prep Props - Week 6

Prep Props is our weekly look at the best individual statistical performances in the state, with the leaders in rushing yards, passing yards, and receiving yards. Prep Props is published every Monday morning.

Week 6 Rushing Leaders

The passing game was struggling for Catholic Memorial against Kettle Moraine in a key Classic Eight battle Friday night, but the rushing attack found plenty of success. Held to just 36 passing yards, CMH was able to put up 367 rushing yards, with all but ten of them coming from junior Tate Kopulos. The 5-9, 185 pounder carried the rock 43 times for 357 yards and two touchdowns, with both scores coming in the fourth quarter as the Crusaders rallied for a 17-10 victory.

Week 6 Passing Leaders

Not surprisingly, it was Watertown quarterback Dylan Fagerland that led the state in passing yards in Week 6, and the Goslings needed every one of them. In a key Badger-South Conference showdown against Milton, Fagerland led the team from a 20-13 fourth quarter deficit to a 27-20 victory, throwing a pair of touchdowns in the final period. He finished the game with 370 yards and four touchdowns, completing 28 of 45 passes.

Week 6 Receiving Leaders

Southern Door struggled to stop the Menominee (MI) Maroons on Friday night in a 62-26 defeat, but the offense did put up some big numbers through the air. Most of the action went to senior Sam Gerend, who hauled in 13 passes for 226 yards and 3 touchdowns in the loss.
