Below are the PlayInTheDells.com Athlete of the Week Nominees for the week of September 25 through October 1. Voting is open until Thursday at 4pm, so be sure to vote for who you feel is most deserving and spread the word. Users may vote once per day.

CJ Brooks, Horicon/Hustisford football: Brooks carried the ball eight times for 330 yards and five touchdowns in the co-op's 50-14 victory against Parkview on Friday. Brooks ended the game with 41.2 yards per attempt. On defense, he added three tackles, including a sack. For the season, Brooks has 853 yards rushing with 15 touchdowns. 

David Burgess, Northland Lutheran boys soccer: Burgess scored 10 goals last week for the Wildcats. He scored five goals in a 6-3 win over Pacelli on Monday, and netted five goals and added an assist in Northland Lutheran's 7-0 victory against Newman Catholic on Thursday. Burgess has the fifth most points in the state (63) and is tied for fifth in goals (28). Northland Lutheran is 8-2-2 overall this season. 

Joseph Raasch, Kettle Moraine Lutheran boys soccer: Raasch scored seven goals and assisted on five goals last week for the Chargers. He netted a hat trick and added two assists in a 8-0 win over Kewaskum on Thursday. On Tuesday, Joseph scored a pair of goals and added two assists. Raasch also netted two goals and added an assist in KML's 4-1 win over West Bend West on Friday. For the season, Raasch has 21 goals and nine assists for the 11-2-2 Chargers. 

Emily Thompson, Fond du Lac girls volleyball: Thompson helped the Cardinals capture the Janesville Craig Invitational on Saturday. She finished with 102 assists and 15 aces on the day for Fond du Lac, who posted wins over Janesville Craig, Janesville Parker, Waterloo, and Evansville. 

JoLea Woreck, Randolph girls volleyball: Woreck tallied 14 kills, four digs, and two aces in the Rockets sweep of Markesan on Thursday. On Tuesday, JoLea totaled 11 kills, 6 digs, and 2 aces in a sweep against Johnson Creek. Woreck has 281 kills, 75 digs,  57 blocks, and 27 aces on the season. Randoph is 18-8 on the season, and ranked No. 7 in last week's Division 4 WVCA Coaches Poll.
