Week 8 Team of the Week: Antigo Red Robins
The Antigo Red Robins have been selected as the Week 8 Team of the Week following a statewide vote on WSN. The team clinched at least a share of the Great Northern Conference title. The Red Robins were chosen from a strong group of nominees in Week 8. A total of 4,849 votes were cast, as Antigo's 1,596 votes edged Kewaskum's 1,421 votes.
The Red Robins clinched the Great Northern Conference title on Friday, defeating Mosinee 21-14 thanks to a 39-yard Jericho Kelly touchdown run with just over five minutes remaining in the game. Kelly would finish with 102 rushing yards as Antigo moved to 5-0 in league play and 7-1 overall.
