Offense

Drew Patterson, Junior (Sussex, Wis./Hamilton), Running Back of UW-Whitewater
Patterson posted his third consecutive 100-plus yard rushing performance, totaling season highs with 32 carries (a career high) for 221 yards and three touchdowns in the Warhawks’ 21-14 triumph over UW-La Crosse, ranked 24th by the American Football Coaches Association, at Perkins Stadium on Oct. 13. His day included a 93-yard touchdown run, the team’s longest run from scrimmage since 2006, to give UW-Whitewater a two-possession lead early in the fourth quarter. Patterson also ran for a 4-yard touchdown in the first quarter and a 1-yard score five minutes into the third. He posted two runs of 20-plus yards in the first quarter alone to set the pace early. His yardage total was the second-highest of his career, just missing his 227-yard game against Belhaven University (Miss.) on Sept. 10 of last season.

Kallas, the Titans’ leading tackler on the season, collected his first career interception that thwarted UW-Platteville’s final possession of the first half at the UW-Oshkosh 21-yard line.
