Below are the PlayInTheDells.com Athlete of the Week Nominees for the week of October 30 through November 5. Voting is open until Thursday at 4pm, so be sure to vote for who you feel is most deserving and spread the word. Users may vote once per day.

PlayInTheDells.com Athlete of the Week Nominees: October 30-November 5

Brooke Anderson, Lake Country Lutheran girls volleyball: Anderson led the Lightning to the Division 3 state championship, their first WIAA state title in program history; defeating Regis in the championship match, 23-25, 25-12, 25-17, 25-19. Brooke tallied a match-high 26 kills for Lake Country Lutheran. In the Lightnings' five-set win over Waterloo in a state semi-final, Anderson finished with 34 kills. 

Nicholas Cheung, Marquette boys soccer: Cheung helped the Hilltoppers win the Division 1 state title for the fourth year in a row by defeating Arrowhead 2-1 in the title match. Cheung scored the go-ahead goal on a penalty kick in the 64th minute. In Marquette's overtime win against Madison West in a state semi-final, Cheung netted the go-ahead goal in the 99th minute. 

Matthew Comiskey, Whitefish Bay boys soccer: Comiskey led the Blue Dukes to their third consecutive Division 2 state title on Saturday. He finished with 2 goals and an assist in their 6-1 win over Oregon in the title match. In a 5-0 state semi-final victory against New Richmond, Comiskey finished with a goal and an assist. 

Abby Koenen, Burlington girls volleyball: Koenen helped the Demons capture their third state title in program history, defeating River Falls in five sets on Saturday at the Resch Center in Green Bay. Koenen recorded a match-high 26 kills with a .367 hitting percentage. In a four-set win over DSHA in a state semi-final, Koenen tallied a game-high 19 kills. She also finished with 11 kills in the Demons' sweep of Mukwonago in a Division 1 state quarterfinal. 

Amber Rowoldt, Lakeside Lutheran girls volleyball: Rowoldt finished with a match-high 29 kills to lead the Warriors to their first WIAA state title in program history, Lakeside Lutheran dropped the first two games before battling back to defeat Luxemburg-Casco and capture the Division 2 state title. Rowoldt set a Division 2 record with the 29 kills in a match, and also set the D2 state tournament record with 48 kills. In state semi-finals, Lakeside Lutheran defeated Catholic Memorial in straight sets.
