Lodi running back Jacob Heyroth finished his senior season in style, helping the Blue Devils to a Division 4 state title. He moved into fourth place on the state's single-season rushing list with 2,909 yards on 31 carries, rushing for 36 touchdowns. Also of note, Iola-Scandinavia junior Bryce Huettner is now fifth on the state's single-season rushing list with 2,830 yards. A staggering total of 15 players eclipsed the 2,000-yard mark this season. Since WSN started tracking statewide stats in 2007, the previous high for 2,000-yard rushers in a season was ten.

Season Receiving Leaders

Lake Mills senior wide receiver Hayden Iverson had a special connection with quarterback Ben Dunkleberger, and it paid off in a big way as Iverson set a new state record with 27 receiving touchdowns this year. He finished with 77 catches for 1,573 yards, a figure that places him fifth on the state's single-season receiving yardage list. Tyler Reichel of Necedah hauled in 106 passes in just nine regular season games this year, which ties him for third on the state's single-season list.
