Favorite Sport (and why): "Basketball is my favorite sport because of the powerful team aspect of it. I like to work with my teammates to overcome challenges, and share successes. It’s a long season, but because of the team aspect of basketball, I find it very rewarding."

Best Part of High School Sports (and why): "The best part of high school sports are the tournaments at the end of seasons, no matter the sport. The electric atmosphere and competitiveness at every game is contagious. Every team is fighting for one more game, and that brings my team even closer together. Tournament time is also exciting for my community, school, and family. Everyone becomes part of the experience that my team and I share, and that’s another reason to love it."

Best Advice from a High School Coach: "Always have great communication, whether it be on the court or in life."

Most Memorable Moment in High School Sports: "My most memorable moment in high school sports was when my varsity basketball team sophomore year beat Richland Center for the conference championship. The energy my team had before, during, and after the game is something I will never forget. Previously in the season we had been beaten by that team and with hard work and determination we prevailed, and it was so awesome to be a part of that win."

Best Part of Playing Three Sports: "The best part of playing three sports is all the people that I have met through them. I have so many friends that I know through either playing with or against over the years."

Toughest Part of Playing Three Sports: "The toughest part of playing three sports is time management with academics, team commitments, and dedicating enough time in the off-season to all three sports to ensure that I continue to excel. Because academics are as important to me as athletics, investing time to homework and studying has been a priority, making time management something I’ve had to learn."

Favorite Opponent (and why): "For a few reasons, my favorite opponent is Cuba City High School. For many years, Cuba City teams had beat us in every basketball match-up. When we play Cuba City, the gym is packed, the play and atmosphere is intense, and the players are highly competitive. Another reason Cuba City is my favorite opponent is that I’ve played on various club teams with some of Cuba City’s players and it’s always fun to compete against each other. For theses reasons, I always want to play my best versus this opponent, making them my favorite."

Favorite Professional Team: "My favorite professional team is the Green Bay Packers. My dad would love that I said that, too."

Favorite Professional Athlete: Skylar Diggins-Smith

Favorite College Team: "My favorite college team is the Wisconsin Badgers."

Cumulative GPA: 4.0

Toughest Individual You’ve Competed Against (and why): "The toughest individual I have competed against is Estella Moschkau from Edgewood High School last year in the basketball sectional final. She was phenomenal at every position on the floor, both offense and defense, and probably the most talented player I’ve played against. It was incredibly difficult to compete against her, but her abilities won my respect."

Most Admired High School Teammate (and why): "The high school teammate that I most admired was Rachel Emendorfer, who has been a past teammate with me on my high school volleyball, basketball, and track teams. I admire Rachel for many reasons, like her drive to work hard and compete at the highest level, which in turn pushed her team and me to work harder. She was always the hardest working player on the court, and I admired that. She’s also an excellent communicator. She provided advice and mentorship to younger teammates. Through her communication skills she demonstrated positive leadership."

College Plans: "I plan to attend UW-La Crosse and participate in track and field."

Activities Outside of Sports: "Activities outside of sports include working as a CNA, volunteering 50+ hours per year to youth sports and my community, FFA member, and National Honor Society."

I Find it Relaxing to: "Read, spend time with family and friends, and watch sports."
