Favorite Sport: "My favorite sport is baseball because I have always loved to play the game and I enjoy the pressure situations. Being at the plate with two outs in the bottom of the seventh inning with runners in scoring position is my favorite part of the game."
Best Part of High School Sports: "The best part of high school sports is playing with the guys you've known your whole life and making memories that will last forever."
Best Advice from a High School Coach: "The best advice I received from a high school coach was to be accountable in every aspect of your life on and off the field."
Most Memorable Moments in High School Sports: "The most memorable moment in high school sports is winning the Level 2 playoff game in football in 2015 versus Rice Lake. We were considered major underdogs after losing badly to them earlier in the season. We jumped out to an early lead and never looked back."
Best Part of Playing Three Sports: "The best part of playing three sports is always staying busy. Going from one sport to the next is something that I am going to miss after high school."
Toughest Part of Playing Three Sports: "The toughest part of playing three sports is time management. Doing your homework instead of going to hang out with friends can be tough at times."
Favorite Opponent: "My favorite opponent to play against is Somerset. We are rival towns only a couple of miles apart. Those games are always hard, physical games that do not disappoint."
Favorite Professional Teams: Minnesota Twins, Minnesota Wild, Los Angeles Dodgers
Favorite Professional Athlete: "My favorite professional athlete is Rob Gronkowski of the New England Patriots. He overpowers defensive ends when he blocks and then the next play he makes an unbelievable catch and hurdles a defender."
Favorite College Teams: Ohio State Buckeyes
Cumulative GPA: 3.73
Toughest Individual You've Competed Against: "The toughest individual I've competed against would be Nate Stanley of Menomonie. He had a cannon for an arm and was a heck of an athlete."
Most Admired High School Teammate: "My most admired high school teammate would be Josh Boyd. I actually did not get to know Josh really well until my freshman year of high school. He and I played tight end on the freshman team. Then, after a long off-season of lifting weights, Josh turned himself into one of the best linemen in the conference. Josh always kept things light off the field, but showed tremendous toughness and the will to compete on the field."
College Plans: "My college plans are to attend a four-year university and major in exercise science. I am currently undecided about playing either baseball or football in college."
Activities Outside of Sports: "I am involved in the Mentor and Tutoring program at my high school. I really enjoy the mentoring because you get to meet the incoming freshmen and give them a different perspective of what high school is like."
I Find it Relaxing to: "I find it relaxing to go kayaking and fishing with my family in the summer and spring."
