Below are the PlayInTheDells.com Athlete of the Week Nominees for the week of February 5 through 11. Voting is open until Thursday at 4pm, so be sure to vote for who you feel is most deserving and spread the word. Users may vote once per day.

PlayInTheDells.com Athlete of the Week Nominees: February 5-11

Sydney Flier, Waupun girls basketball: Flier scored a career-best 36 points and added 16 rebounds, 3 steals and 3 blocks in the Warriors' 62-49 win over Ripon on Tuesday. In Friday's 56-39 win over Kewaskum, she finished with 15 points, 9 rebounds, 2 assists, a steal and a block. The 6-2 senior and Winona State recruit is averaging 17.1 points, 10.6 rebounds, 1.1 assists and 1.9 blocks per game for Waupun, 12-9 overall and 8-5 in the East Central. 

Jordan Ludescher, Flambeau girls basketball: Ludescher tallied 29 points and became Flambeau's all-time leading scorer in Monday's 62-24 win over Ladysmith. She netted a career-high 34 points in the Falcons' 70-55 win over D4 No. 9 Cameron on Thursday. In a 60-10 victory against Bruce on Friday, Jordan tallied 21 points. The 6-1 senior and Michigan Tech recruit is averaging 24.7 points per game for undefeated Flambeau, ranked No. 2 in the Division 5 WisSports.net Coaches Poll with a 19-0 record, including an 11-0 mark in the Lakeland-East.  

Desmond Polk, New Berlin West boys basketball: Polk finished with 30 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists in the Vikings' win over Milwaukee Messmer, 88-78, at the 12th annual John Chekouras Classic, held Saturday at Homestead High School. The 6-3 sophomore is averaging 19.1 points, 6.1 rebounds, 3.3 assists, 1.5 steals and 1.3 blocks per game for New Berlin West, 10-8 overall and 4-6 in the Woodland-West. 

Marlon Ruffin, Sun Prairie boys basketball: Ruffin scored a team-high 13 points in the Cardinals' 41-32 win over Madison Memorial. He netted a game-high 17 points in Sun Prairie's 82-37 win over Madison West on Saturday, which clinched a share of the Big Eight title, and ended Madison Memorial's 14-year run atop the conference standings. The 6-4 senior is averaging 17.7 points for D1 No. 2 Sun Prairie, 18-1 overall and 15-1 in the Big Eight. 

Abigail Stow, Eau Claire Area Stars girls hockey: Stow scored 2 goals and added 3 assists in a 7-4 win over Black River Falls on Tuesday. The senior is leading the state with 76 points; she has a state-best 37 assists and is second in goals with 39.
