Senior Girls Basketball Awards: Post Finalists

Wisconsin Sports Network is proud to showcase the WSN High School Basketball Awards.

The pre-season watch list was trimmed down to 15 semi-finalists, and five finalists for the award have now been selected. Winners are announced the week of the state tournament. Finalists are eligible for just one of the five awards. 

Savanna Crockett, Milwaukee Vincent -- Crockett averaged 16.8 points, 10.7 rebounds, 2.7 assists, 1.6 steals and 1.9 blocks per game for the Vikings who finished the year with a 22-3 record. The NCAA Division I Cleveland State recruit led Milwaukee Vincent to a share of the Milwaukee City-Gold title and sectional appearance. The Vikings fell to defending Division 2 state champions Beaver Dam in a sectional semi-final. 

Sydney Flier, Waupun -- Flier averaged 17.5 points, 10.7 rebounds, a steal and 2 blocks per game for the Warriors. The NCAA Division II Winona State recruit received honorable mention WBCA all-state last season and led Waupun to a 15-10 record this season. 

Caitlyn Harper, Arrowhead -- Harper, co-player of the year in the Classic Eight, is averaging 15.4 points per game for the Warhawks. The NCAA Division I California Baptist recruit has led Arrowhead to a 23-2 record and play Bay Port in a Division 1 sectional final. Harper was voted honorable mention WBCA all-state as a junior. 

Brooke Olson, Rice Lake -- Olson, an honorable mention WBCA all-state pick last season, averaged 22.4 points, 12.7 rebounds, 2 assists, 1.6 steals and 1.2 blocks per game for the Warriors. The NCAA Division II Minnesota Duluth recruit led Rice Lake to a 16-8 record this season. 

Heather Pearson, Amherst -- Pearson is averaging 16.8 points, 9 rebounds, 2.5 steals and 1.8 blocks per game for the Falcons. The NCAA Division III UW-Oshkosh recruit has led Amherst to a 24-1 record entering its Division 3 sectional final against Southern Door on Saturday.
