The WSN15 series will celebrate the 15th Anniversary of WisSports.net by looking back at the top players, teams, and moments of the past 15 years (2003-2017).

The WSN15 boys' basketball series continues with the Top 15 Teams of the WSN Era.

Jim Gosz won four WIAA state championships with his outstanding teams at Milwaukee King High School.

All were most deserving of being called "state champs" and the 1991, 1995, 2003 and 2004 squads each featured outstanding individuals who went on to enjoy very good collegiate careers.

But Gosz's 2002-03 squad was the only team of the four to finish with an unbeaten record.

The Generals went 26-0 and defeated Appleton West and 6-foot-11 center Brian Butch 57-46 in the Division 1 title game at the Kohl Center in Madison.

The starting lineup for King in that game featured some of the top players in school history, including Dupree Fletcher (5-11), Mike Gutter (6-8), Matt Goodwin (6-1), Justin Willingham (6-2) and Jahi Craig (5-9).

Off the bench, Gosz had additional talent, and used forward Jermyl Jackson-Wilson (6-7) and guards Troy Cotton (6-1), Robert Dixon (6-0) and Khalifa El-Amin (5-2) to wear down Appleton West in the title game.

King's talented reserves outscored Appleton West's bench players 14-0 as the Generals completed their undefeated season in convincing fashion.

Four players from the 2002-03 squad at King earned NCAA Division I scholarships -- Fletcher to Evansville, Jackson-Wilson to Ohio State, Goodwin to Pacific and Cotton to Green Bay.

Jackson-Wilson later transferred to Colorado and Goodwin to Whitewater, where he played with Dixon. El-Amin enjoyed a terrific collegiate career at Stevens Point.

Fletcher also ended up at Whitewater after playing one season at Evansville. He helped the Warhawks win the 2009-10 Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Association championship and reach the second round of the NCAA Division III Tournament.
