Looking at their remaining schedule, the packers could easily go 5-3 (with losses to Dallas, Pittsburgh, and Baltimore) but i really don't think this team will do that. they could just as easily go 2-6 (adding Chicago, Arizona and San Fran to the loss column). Honestly, I'm thinking they'll go 3-5 in the 2nd half, and end at 7-9.

(NFC West Winner)
(NFC East Winner)
Atlanta
(Remaining Wild Card)

i really feel that the remaining wild card spot will go to the NFC East. some 2 team combination out of Dallas, Philly, and New York will make the play offs. All three of these teams better equipped to perform down the stretch than Green Bay has shown so far this season.

Since it is a prediction not a fact my opinion would be that NO the PACK will not make the playoffs as explained by OPINION that they have roughly a 1 in 20 chance--not good. They could make playoffs but it is EXTREMELY unlikely. I feel they will have 0% chance as of December 20th 3pm.

Chances of making playoffs cut in half today. Think they now have a 1 in 40 chance of making playoffs or about a 2.5% chance. Also 2.5% chance that MM is gone by Tuesday....

After this week the PACK will be lucky to win another game. Yes I do believe the Lions BEAT the Packers on Thanksgiving. Think they will be "officially" out of wild card race as of 3pm on December 20th. Once out they should tank last two games to get better draft position for their new gm next year. Dallas, San Fran., Baltimore, @ Chicago, @ Pittsburgh, @ Arizona sure sounds like 6 losses right there to give them 9 losses for year and I think they lose at least one of @ Detroit or against Seattle (maybe both). Now add in what happens if AROD proves to be human and misses time from getting beaten like a drum week in and week out. Best case scenario has them losing 3 more games this year which puts them at 10-6 which might not be enough. Think wilds card comes from ATLANTA, DALLAS, NYG, PHILLY two out of 3 with one other winning the EAST. San Fran, Bears, AZ and Seattle all still with shot also along with Pack. Of course one of those wins the west (most likely AZ) but SF has discovered offense with Smith and Davis and Crabtree to compliment Gore and might prove to be a tough out.

Put PACK playoff chances at 5%. If they don't make it put MM chances of being back also at 5%. TT tougher call but would LOVE to see him gone and let someone in who can rebuild the PACK to greatness behind AROD.

So what is it? NO, or 5%..... ;-)

The Vikings, at this point, are extremely good. On the top tier in the league. The Bengals, at this point, are extremely good. On the top tier in the league. The Lions, Browns, and Rams are extremely bad. Clearly on the bottom of the league.

What's the difference? Cleveland is the only 3-4 team the Packers have faced all year. If we see good-looking protection in the Dallas game, take it as a sign. If we see poor protection, I guess we can chalk it up to Cleveland being a terrible team. But I'm wondering, with all the time the Defense spent implementing the 3-4 this year, if the young O-Line is much more comfortable against those sets than 4-3 sets.

Most Thursdays this year are for the UFL and sure we'll add Mondays even though the Packers don't play that many Monday Night games (although I'm not sure any team does).

The way the Packers have been playing i wouldn't be surprised if they're season plumited from here. They need to turn around from the beating they recieved last week and make something happen, i see them possibly getting into the playoffs but then loosing in the second if not the first round.

If the Packers do not finish 10-6 or better, I find it a total disappointment. They should beat Tampa, Detroit, Chicago, Seattle. Games like the San Fran, Dallas, and Arizona are certainly winnable pending what team shows up. The obvious games to worry about are against the Ravens and Steelers. There is still a chance to be 8-3 when we meet the Ravens. I also think that 10 games should be enough to make the playoffs.. but I may be wrong.

if the o-line play improves then i say they have a better chance than a lot of teams, including the bears
