Forest Park (whom Hurley beat in week 3 and is their conference rival) will be playing again for a state championship at Ford Field.

The Michigan state championship games are on Fox Sports channels if you have extended cable or satellite TV. If you got Time Warner, they're I believe on channel 319, or somewhere in that range.

Nice effort on Hurley's part... Not scoring bear the ned of the 2nd half really hurt...

Hurley played an excellent game ,hard fought and tough running also a few good passes. They were a wide open dropped ball in the endzone and a unbelievably bad call by a ref calling a forward pass a fummble away from being in this game. Edgar also a play or two the other way. I was impressed with Hurley tonight they played with pride , no doubt. Edgar played well but looked a little more human with a few dropped passes a fumble . Game worth the trip!

It's a pity Justin Rhenlund won't play for Hurley this week. They are going to need every weapon they have in order to play with Edgar. I have seen them play 2 out of the last 3 years and they have great team speed. But I think to play with Edgar the "line play" will decide it and from what I have heard Edgar is big and talented. It could be a repeat of when they played Darlington in the final years ago when they got spanked. That game they had one lineman barely 200lbs. all the rest less than that. Of course in 1995 they beat Stratford in the semi's I believe to advance. Ever since then Cal Tackes has been spoiled with talent and then this year came. WOWWWW! Getting ejected from a game Coach Tackes? Getting beat this year the way you beat teams for how many years and your gonna wine to officials and get ejected in a game??? Pure Class.

They beat Somerset in the semi of 95.

Just to let everyone know that Hurley will bring everything to the table for this game. I know that Edgar is having a once in a lifetime season, but for heavens sake, they can be beaten! And if you go back in history, Edgar has had some trouble beating Hurley. If I remember correctly, the only time Edgar has beaten Hurley was in overtime back in 2005. In that game, I think that Hurleys smallest running back ever had over 100 rushing yards. It really sucks that everyone is already handing the gold ball to Edgar when they still need to get by Hurley. Now, I am not saying that Hurley is going to win or lose, but DO NOT COUNT THEM OUT!!!!!!!

You really haven't seen them play then have you?

I don't recall which station it would be on with the broadcast beginning at 6:30 pm Friday.

They made an annoucement earlier in the week that they would carry the game.
