I'd say no to grant and jones...personally I'd start Johnson and Benson but Benson scares me against the Ravens D that I think is looking for revenge...Johnson for sure and then flip a coin on Benson/Thomas but I'd go with my gut (and it's big) and play Johnson/Benson

Alright, big stink in my oldest standing league. Looking for a sniff test from others.

We get one keeper each year, decided on draft day. Crappy teams can trade with other teams to get a player that is keeper-worthy.

Trade just made:

Team A gets Reggie Bush, a 2010 7th round pick, and a 2011 1st round pick.
Team B gets Chris Johnson, a 2010 5th round pick.

BUT, team A also gets the rights to CJ after the season, thus allowing them to keep him for 2010.

One owner has had an aneurysm saying that it is a just a rental. Others are saying it is OK since the team is giving up a 1st rounder 2 years from now.

Would this fly with anyone in their respective leagues?

Not sure I understand the trade/rules.  Can you only keep players for a certain number of seasons?

At face value...I would prefer to have Chris Johnson side.

I'd definitely start MJD and Johnson.

For the other, fhe fantasy rankings at nfl.com have Gore a few places up from Jones and on the way up but, given with how each has performed this year and with their oponents, I would go with Jones for the start. The Jags have allowed an average of 157.5 ypg on the ground while on the road and Jones has been putting up some pretty good rushing numbers the past few weeks. This is a tough decision though, as Gore has been a decent receiver out of the backfield the past couple weeks as well as getting decent yardage on the ground. Deciding factor for me is the Jets are home and coming out a the bye week and could easily go up early in this game leaving them the option to pound out the game on the ground.

I just want to know how you ended up with those 4 guys on one team.  That's impressive.

jones and johnson were drafted. Gore and MJD were accquired via two trades that i proposed for ****s and giggles and golly they worked. Also have wayne and Mike Sims-Walker. Steelers and Phi and SD D and Kaeding as a kicker. Big ben and Warner as QB. Oh ya. Dallas Clark and Celek as TE as well. I have two loses but it was when players had bye weeks and one loss was to a guy with AP and Williams and Schaub.

Re:Fantasy Football Dilemma - Thursday, November 12, 2009 2:13 PM ( #90 )
Who do I start this week, Favre or Romo?

Favre is playing the Lions at home, so he could easily put up big numbers, but he could also not play the entire 4th quarter if the Vikings get a big lead. When Favre played the Lions in week 2, he had 155 yds and 2 TDs.

Romo plays the Pack at Lambeau in what could be a shootout. I'm expecting that game to be much more competitive than Vikings/Lions, which is why I think Romo should put up better numbers than Favre this week. Romo has also been red-hot as of late, with 3 straight 300-yd games.

What do you guys think?
