LMAO @ Odom. Lakers are up 3 with a few seconds left in OT, he gets fouled and is laughing as he goes to the line, acting all cocky like the FT are in the bag. He clanks the first one, then gets all serious and proceeds to airball the second one by about a foot and a half!

The Rockets aren't a joke like most people think they are. Aldeman is a very good coach, who always gets the most of his players and puts out outstanding defensive teams. The Thunder have alot of talent but just are very inexperienced. Lakers are taking the best shots from all teams early on, as they should, it'll only help them in the long run.

Wrath of Kobe being felt on both ends of the floor this year, 33+ PPG and 3+ SPG, leading the league in both categories.

MBC2K4 Wrath of Kobe being felt on both ends of the floor this year, 33+ PPG and 3+ SPG, leading the league in both categories. He can thank Artest for those numbers, well and the two OT games. Artests presence on the defensive end, locking down the perimeter is letting Kobe roam to get more steals and rebounds (averaging 7). Those steals are leading to fast break points and his roaming is letting him run the floor. I wouldn't expect his stats to stay like this, outside of the steals. When Pau comes back, he'll have less touches and rebounds to grab.

Very true, and unlike some other guys, Kobe doesn't push his bigs out of the way and steal rebounds from them to pad stats.

Kobe picked up the scoring last night with 41 points on 19-30 shooting against the Grizzlies becoming the youngest player to score 24,000 points. Kobe needed to score that much with Bynum and Pau out and Odom only scoring 3 points in 29 minutes. It's games like these that i'm glad the Lakers have Artest because he can pick up the slack, as he did last night to the tune of 19, 6 and 7. Edit: Glad we have Josh Powell too, a efficent 13 points on 6-11 shooting in 23 minutes. The Lakers have so many options to throw in at any game regardless of the circumstances. And you already know Mamba is going to play 82 games this season.

Yes, it was quite noble of ESPN to take 2 seconds out of their LeBron lovefest on SportsCenter to recognize Kobe being the youngest to surpass 24,000 career points.

Well he has earned it. His muscle mass is bigger than Kobe and Kobe has many more years in NBA than he has. And this and next year are Lebrons prime.
