The Packers clearly have a shot at the playoffs. You look at their remaining schedule and they should have wins against Tampa, Lions, Seahawks, and prolly bears. They they have competitive games against 49ers, dallas at home, ravens at home. Finally, in my opinion, two very tough games in at steelers, and at cards. If they 6 of those games, they will be in. The NFC East will eliminate atleast one of there teams from the playoffs based on playing each other, and if the season ended today the Packers would be tied with Atlanta, Arizona, chicago, and if prolly Giants (Assuming the win against tampa) They will be fine....

Bad phrasing.

Seeing as how they are not eliminated, they have a shot.

Do I think the Packers make the playoffs?  50-50 right now.
Bucks: 32-50
Packers: 11-5
Badgers: 8-4

Agreed.  They 100% still have A shot, how good of shot can be debated...

I personally believe that with a little help from Tauscher and Clifton, as well as no major injuries (Rodgers & Woodson basically) we have a GOOD shot.  Not GREAT but GOOD shot.  I say that because you can't speculate that the return of Tauscher and Clifton will completely clean up that O-line, however hopefully they at least make them adequate, which I think would be enough at this point to make a competitive playoff run.

One WC spot will come from the East, I just think they have the most talent from top to bottom in that division.  For that reason, I believe only 1 WC spot will come from there because they will beat up on each other too much.

Then it comes down to CHI, GB, and ATL in my opinion.  Chicago and GB play similar types of schedules down the stretch as well as a head to head game which could be the deciding factor between those two teams. (Let's not forget, MN and CHI still have two match ups, which it looks like more than likely GB fans will be cheering for MN in those games unless MN drops a couple unexpected games)

Lastly, ATL has the following schedule:
Washington
@Carolina
@ NYG
Tampa
Philly
NO Saints
@NYJ
Buffalo
@Tampa

Obviously a ton of football left, but just making a conservative prediction I say Atlanta beats Wash, Tampa 2xs, Buffalo.  Then the rest are toss ups, much like GB and CHI have.  It will come down to which of these 4-3, 5-2 teams develop the most consistency.  Wide open race at this point.

I don't think they have much of one.  pathetic o-line, not much of a run game, and they can't play the lions, rams, and browns all year long.

if the o-line play improves then i say they have a better chance than a lot of teams, including the bears

What's most interesting to me about the Packers is this:

The Vikings, at this point, are extremely good. On the top tier in the league. The Bengals, at this point, are extremely good. On the top tier in the league. The Lions, Browns, and Rams are extremely bad. Clearly on the bottom of the league.

The Packers have played either very good teams or very bad teams this season, with the exception of Chicago--whom they beat at home. So what do we know about the Packers at this point? In my opinion, very little. We're going to see a lot from the Packers in the game against Dallas. If they win that game, they're a playoff team. If they don't, it looks very doubtful.

Something else interesting to point out--bad D-Lines or good D-Lines, the Packers have given up around 5-6 sacks every single game. There is one exception, and this is the Cleveland game. Cleveland actually has a pretty decent pass rush with Wimbley and Rogers, definitely better than the pu-pu platter Detroit got five sacks with, and they were held to 0 sacks.

What's the difference? Cleveland is the only 3-4 team the Packers have faced all year. If we see good-looking protection in the Dallas game, take it as a sign. If we see poor protection, I guess we can chalk it up to Cleveland being a terrible team. But I'm wondering, with all the time the Defense spent implementing the 3-4 this year, if the young O-Line is much more comfortable against those sets than 4-3 sets.

If the Packers do not finish 10-6 or better, I find it a total disappointment.  They should beat Tampa, Detroit, Chicago, Seattle.  Games like the San Fran, Dallas, and Arizona are certainly winnable pending what team shows up. The obvious games to worry about are against the Ravens and Steelers. There is still a chance to be 8-3 when we meet the Ravens. I also think that 10 games should be enough to make the playoffs.. but I may be wrong.

The way the Packers have been playing i wouldn't be surprised if they're season plumited from here. They need to turn around from the beating they recieved last week and make something happen, i see them possibly getting into the playoffs but then loosing in the second if not the first round.

Most Thursdays this year are for the UFL and sure we'll add Mondays even though the Packers don't play that many Monday Night games (although I'm not sure any team does).
