Scholarship offers and walk-on invites for Pregont, visits scheduled for Pohlmann and Dahl

-In a recruiting update sent to WisFootball.net, Janesville Craig wide receiver Jo Jo Pregont (6-6, 215) said he has not one, but two scholarship offers and two walk-on invitations.
 
“I got offered a scholarship to Minnesota-Duluth and Illinois State,” Pregont explained. “Wisconsin and Iowa also said I could be a preferred walk-on.”

The No. 23 overall prospect and No. 2 wide receiver in the class of 2009, Pregont totaled 62 receptions for 927 yards and 11 touchdowns in 2008. He finished his high school career with 178 receptions for 2,796 yards and 28 touchdowns.
 
Pregont earned Associated Press second-team all-state, WFCA honorable-mention all-state, WFCA all-region, Capital Times first-team all-area, Wisconsin State Journal first-team all-area, first-team all-conference and Big Eight Conference Receiver of the Year recognition.
 
-According to Greendale High School offensive line coach Scott Bond, Panthers offensive lineman/defensive end Lucas Pohlmann (6-4, 240) has an official visit with Division II Minnesota-Moorhead scheduled for this weekend.
 
Pohlmann earned first-team all-conference honors on the offensive line as a senior.
 
-McDonnell Central offensive lineman/defensive end Nate Dahl (6-3, 230) will be taking a visit to UW-Eau Claire this weekend and an official visit to Winona State later on this month.
 
A star on both sides of the ball, Dahl was an Associated Press first-team all-state, Eau Claire Leader-Telegram first-team all-area, Chippewa Herald first-team all-Chippewa County and first-team all-conference selection on the offensive line. He was also named the Marawood Conference Lineman of the Year and first-team all-conference as a defensive end.
