Wisconsin Sports Network is proud to showcase the WSN High School Basketball Awards.

The pre-season watch list was trimmed down to 15 semi-finalists, and five finalists for the award have now been selected. Winners are announced the week of the state tournament. 

Marcus Domask, 6-6, G/F, Waupun
Perhaps the most complete player in the state, Domask does it all for Waupun, which takes a 23-1 record into Thursday's WIAA Division 3 sectional semifinal game against Columbus. The Northern Kentucky recruit is averaging 26.9 points, 9.9 rebounds and 5.7 assists while shooting 62 percent from the field, 82 percent from the free-throw line and 48 percent from three-point range. The son of Waupun coach Dan Domask, Marcus Domask has scored a whopping 2,221 points during his four-year prep career and helped the Warriors to the Division 3 state championship in 2016.  

Mayson Hazaert, 6-4, G/F, Wrightstown
An ultra aggressive and extremely athletic wing who loves to get to the basket, Hazaert helped lead Wrightstown to a share of the North Eastern Conference crown with Denmark and Freedom. Hazaert is averaging 24.8 points, 7.7 rebounds and 2.6 assists for the Tigers, who play Freedom in a WIAA Division 3 sectional semifinal on Thursday. Both teams take 20-4 overall records into the contest. Hazaert, who has scored more than 1,000 during his prep career, has committed to NCAA Division III Stevens Point.

Logan Mulhern, 6-2, G, Osseo-Fairchild
The Player of the Year in the Western Cloverbelt Conference, Mulhern has been outstanding for Osseo-Fairchild and coach Tim Popple. He is averaging 24.9 points, 10.7 rebounds and 5.5 assists while helping the Thunder to a 23-1 record and the league championship, not to mention a spot in the WIAA Division 4 sectional semifinals with a game Thursday against Fall Creek. Mulhern is shooting 54 percent from the floor and 73 percent from the free-throw line while scoring close to 1,800 points during his four-year high school career.

Cole Nau, 6-3, G, Brookfield Central
The beauty of Cole Nau's game is that he can play either guard position and play each with skill, smarts and poise. He figures to play point guard at NCAA Division II Hillsdale College in the fall and has moved over to that position since Gage Malensek (6-0) is no longer on the team. Nau is averaging 13.6 points, 5.4 rebounds and 3.7 assists for Brookfield Central, which brings a 19-5 record into Thursday's sectional semifinal game against Brookfield East. Nau does whatever is needed for coach Dan Wandrey, whether it be distributing the ball, scoring or playing strong defense.  

Ryan Waddell, 6-1, G, Homestead
A solid varsity performer for coach Sean Crider at Homestead in each of the past three seasons, Waddell is averaging 20.3 points, 5.2 rebounds and 4.8 assists for the Highlanders. Waddell is averaging 62 percent from the field and 65 percent from the free-throw line. Waddell went for 31 points in Homestead's regional-championship game at Arrowhead to help Homestead improve to 20-4 heading into Thursday's WIAA Division 1 sectional semifinal game against Sussex Hamilton.
