Sophie Cedarblade of Elk Mound won the 2019 WIAA Girls 3-Point Challenge at the Resch Center in Green Bay Saturday morning.
10 participants were selected for the event based on stats information entered by coaches into the WisSports.net database. The top two three-point shooters (minimum 75 attempts) from each division were chosen to participate.
Cedarblade scored 18 points in the opening round, 13 in the semi-finals (with three out of five in a tiebreaker), and 18 in the finals. Also participating in the finals was Maggie Craker of McDonell Central.
In addition to those two, Mallory Lindsey of Mineral Point and Natalie Cerrato of De Pere were semi-finalists.
