Below are the PlayInTheDells.com Athlete of the Week Nominees for the week of March 18 through 24. Voting is open until Thursday at 4pm, so be sure to vote for who you feel is most deserving and spread the word. Users may vote once per day.

PlayInTheDells.com Athlete of the Week Nominees: Mar. 18-24

Ladell Cannon, Madison La Follette boys track and field: The Madison La Follete boys track team won the City Indoor Meet this past weekend as Ladell was a key piece to that. Ladell won the 55-mete hurdles for La Follette with a time of 8.39 seconds. He was also apart of the 800 meter relay team that won with a time of 1:38.24.

Logan Zschernitz, Spencer boys track and field: Logan took home a first place finish in the shot put in dominating fashion at the Northern Badger Classic this past weekend. Logan's winning distance was 55'4" which over eight feet longer than the next closest competitor.

McKenzie Lamos, Kenosha Indian Trail softball: Kenosha Indian Trail started off the season with a matchup of defending D1 champion Burlington. They came away with a 15-10 win and McKenzie was a huge reason why. The senior shortstop went 3 for 3 from the plate with a home run and 4 runs batted in.

Adelynn Hyatt, Cashton girls track and field: Adelynn took home three wins this past weekend at the UW-La Crosse indoor meet to help Cashton to a third place finish in the girls division. Adelynn won the 200 meter race with a time of 28.17. She then took home a first place finish in the 55-meter hurdles with a time of 9.13 seconds. Adelynn led off the 800 meter relay team that took first place with a time of 1:55.79.

Nadia Vo, Franklin girls track and field: Nadia was a huge reason why the Franklin girls track and field team took home a first place finish in the large school division at the Ripon College Showcase. She won the high jump at 5-4. Nadia then went and won the long jump competition with a distance of 17-8.5.
