Kenosha Indian Trail senior McKenzie Lamos has been selected as the Athlete of the Week for the week of March 18 through 24.

There was a total of 1,374 votes cast this week. McKenzie finished first with 722 votes. Cashton's Adelynn Hyatt finished second with a total of 554 votes.

McKenzie and the Kenosha Indian Trail softball team faced some stiff competition as they began the season facing off with defending D1 champion Burlington. The Hawks came out victorious with a 15-10 win and McKenzie was a key reason why. Mckenzie, a senior short stop, went 3 for 3 from the plate including a home run and 4 runs batted in.
