Below are the PlayInTheDells.com Athlete of the Week Nominees for the week of April 1 through 7. Voting is open until Thursday at 4pm, so be sure to vote for who you feel is most deserving and spread the word. Users may vote once per day.

PlayInTheDells.com Athlete of the Week Nominees: Apr. 1-7

Sarah Kraus, Onalaska softball: Sarah had an incredible week for the Onalaska softball team last week as she pitched a pair of one-hit shutouts. In a 10-0 win over West Salem, Sarah pitched a complete game, striking out 9 and allowing only the one hit. She also went 2 for 3 from the plate with a home run and 2 RBI's. She then pitched another one-hit shutout in a 1-0 win over Holmen. She struck out 12 batters, totaling 21 on the week. Sarah also drove in the only run in the game sealing the victory on both sides of the plate.

Austin Fox, Pittsville baseball: The Pittsville baseball team put up 114 runs in five victories last week and Austin was a key piece to that. Austin went 14 of 20 for a .700 batting average through the five games. He also collected seven walks and drove in 11 of the 114 runs throughout the week. The Panthers are ranked third in Division 4 and are 6-0 to start the season.

Emily Heyroth, Winneconne girls soccer: Winneconne picked up three victories last week behind the leg of Emily. In a 4-0 shutout over Fox Valley Lutheran, Emily had 2 goals and 1 assist. She then had 1 goal and 1 assist in a 5-0 win over Menasha. To cap the week, Emily scored 3 goals and assisted on two more as Winneconne beat Saint Mary Catholic 8-5.

Jadin O'Brien, DSHA girls track and field: DSHA took home a team first place finish at the Wisconsin State Indoor Track and Field Invite and Jadin took home a first place finish in two different events. She won 55 meter hurdles with a time of :08.16. Jadin then followed that up with a long jump of 19-3.5 to take home a first place in that finish.

Kip Sullivan, Middleton boys golf: Kip shot an incredible round of golf this past weekend at the Wisconsin Dells Invite at the Cold Water Canyon Golf Course. En route to a 7 under par 64, Kip had 7 birdies and didn't record a single bogey to finish as the overall leader. Middleton boys took home the team championship as well.
