PlayinTheDells.com Athlete of the Week: Jadin O'Brien, DSHA

Divine Savior Holy Angel junior Jadin O'Biren has been selected as the PlayInTheDells.com Athlete of the Week for the week of April 1 through 7.

There was a total of 1,689 votes cast this week. Jadin finished first with 719 votes. Winneconne's Emily Heyroth finished second with a total of 317 votes.

Jadin helped lead DSHA to a first place finish in the girls division at the Wisconsin State Indoor Track & Field Invite this past weekend. Jadin took home a first place finish in two different events Saturday. She led the pack in the 55 meter hurdles with a time of :08.16. She then finished first in the long jump competition at 19-3.5.

Jadin is starting her junior year off with a bang and looks to make it back to state for the second consecutive year in the long jump, where she took home bronze last year. She is also looking to make it in the 300 meter hurdles for the third straight season, having won it as a freshman and finished second last year as a sophomore.
