Below are the PlayInTheDells.com Athlete of the Week Nominees for the week of April 15 through 21. Voting is open until Thursday at 4pm, so be sure to vote for who you feel is most deserving and spread the word. Users may vote once per day.

PlayInTheDells.com Athlete of the Week Nominees: Apr. 15-21

Jayda Obluck, Waterford girls track & field: The Waterford girls track team took home a first place finish at the Kenosha Bradford Invite and Jayda was a big reason why. She took home two individual first place finishes as well as being a part of a winning relay. Jayda won the 1000 meter run in 3:10.79. She also won the 600 meter race with a time of 1:44.17. In her last event, Jayda was a part of the 4x400 meter relay that took home a first place finish with a time of 4:21.51.

Baily Hyatt, Tomah boys track & field: Baily grabbed a pair of first place finishes in the 100 and 200 meter races, while also finishing second in the long jump to help Tomah win the Gatzke Invite. He won the 100 with a time of 11.74 seconds and the 200 in just 23.82 seconds. His long jump of 18-10 1/4 took home second in the event.

Anna Little, Saint Mary Catholic softball: Anna was incredible on the mound this past week as she pitched a combined 13 shutout innings to record two victories. In a 10-0 win over Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah, Anna pitched all six innings, recording 12 strikeouts and only allowing two hits. She then pitched seven shutout innings as the Zephyrs beat Manitowoc Lutheran 4-0. She struck out another 18 batters in the process, only allowing three hits.

Luke Morgan, Green Lake/Princeton baseball: Luke was stellar on the mound and at the plate last week as the Tigersharks won three games. In a double header against Fall River, Luke pitched the first game and was incredible. He pitched five innings of no-hit ball in the 13-0 win, while also going two for three from the plate with three RBIs. In game two, he had two RBIs and walked twice as they beat Fall River 17-8. Luke finished the week going two for four with four RBIs in a 21-1 win over Rio.

Maggie Starker, Whitefish Bay girls soccer: The D2 fifth-ranked Whitefish Bay girls soccer team won two games this past week by a combined score of 10-1. First, in a 4-0 shutout over Freeport, Maggie assisted on two of the goals. Then in a 6-1 win over Wauwatosa East, Maggie was responsible for five of those goals. She scored three of them herself, while assisting on two others.
