Monroe senior Olivia Bobak has been selected as the PlayInTheDells.com Athlete of the Week for the week of April 22 through 28.

There was a total of 1,933 votes cast this week. Olivia finished first with 762 votes. Assumption's Clara Kubis finished second with a total of 617 votes.

Olivia pitched a couple of gems this past week as the fifth-ranked team in D2 swept a pair of games over Badger-South foe Milton. Monday, she pitched seven innings of complete game softball in an 8-1 win. Olivia struck out 12 batters and only gave up one hit in the process. She added two runs on the offensive side of things. In the Tuesday game, she allowed only four hits, striking out 11, en route to a five-inning 10-0 shutout victory.

On the season, Olivia has pitched 73 innings en route to ten winning decisions. She has an ERA of 1.90 and has struck out 110 batters as opposed to 23 walks.
