Noah Mueller

Name: Noah Mueller

School: Little Chute

Grade: 12

Football Honors: After lettering in cross country as a freshman and sophomore, Mueller switched over to football for his junior and senior seasons ... Team captain and second-team all-North Eastern Conference quarterback as a senior ... Helped the Mustangs to a 12-1 record in 2018 by passing for 1,780 yards, 19 touchdowns and just three interceptions.

First-team all-league performer in the North Eastern Conference as a junior and senior ... A 6-foot-2 guard who averaged 15.6 points per game as as senior while helping Little Chute to a 15-8 record.

Track & Field Honors: Three-year varsity letter winner entering senior season ... Three-time qualifier for the WIAA State Track & Field Meet ...  Cleared 6-feet, 3-inches in the high jump at the state meet in La Crosse as a junior ... In addition to the high jump, also competes in the 4x200 relay and 4x100 relay for the Mustangs.

Favorite Sport: "I have always had a love for the game of basketball. I had always watched my brother playing while I was growing up and that is when my love began. I hit major growth spurt in middle school so I found myself having the most success in basketball from a young age. Basketball has always felt so nature to me."

Best Part of High School Sports: "The best part of high school sports is the people you meet. I have met so many different coaches as well as players who lead me in their own ways. The coaches help me become a better man while the players help me become a better leader and friend."

Best Advice from a High School Coach: "In seventh-grade, my basketball coach told me that I will not always be the tallest guy on the court. That really pushed me to become more of a guard than a center and I began shooting/dribbling in my driveway. Without that advice, I am not sure if I would have achieved my high-school goals."

Most Memorable Moment in High School Sports: "My most memorable moment has to be my senior football season. We had a lot of success and it was the most enjoyable sports season I have had. Our team was very close with each other and won our school's first outright conference championship in almost 30 years."

Best Part of Playing Three Sports: "I love how it keeps every day moving fast. It allows me to continue to stay in shape and converse with my friends every day."

Toughest Part of Playing Three Sports: "The most difficult part about playing three sports is how busy everything gets. It is not easy balancing academics with athletics. Right when football season ends, basketball season starts. Then basketball ends and track starts right up so there is no break."

Favorite Opponent: Freedom Irish

Favorite Professional Teams: Packers, Brewers, Bucks

Favorite Professional Athlete: LeBron James

Favorite College Teams: Wisconsin Badgers, Texas Longhorns

Cumulative GPA: 3.9

Toughest Individual You’ve Competed Against: "Hunter Plamann of Appleton Xavier in basketball."

Most Admired High School Teammate: "Isaac Van Deurzen. He isn't the tallest guy, but he works so hard and that is what I admire most about him. He is a perfect example of 'it's not the size of the dog in the first, but the size of the right in the dog.'"

College Plans: "I will be attending the University of Wisconsin next fall."

Activities Outside of Sports: National Honor Society, Student Council, Sources of Strength, mentor for elementary students, vice president of DECA, mission trips for my parish.

I Find it Relaxing to: "Take naps and shoot hoops in my driveway."
