The 2019 WIAA State Softball Championships wrapped up on Saturday at Goodman Diamond in Madison.

Chloe Evans led the attack for Seymour, going 2-for-4 with two runs and three RBI. Paige Weyer earned the victory and finished with five strikeouts. The Thunder topped Ellsworth, 4-2, in a state semifinal. This was Seymours first-ever trip to the state tournament.
