Below are the PlayInTheDells.com Athlete of the Week Nominees for the week of June 3 through June 9. Voting is open until Thursday at 4pm, so be sure to vote for who you feel is most deserving and spread the word. Users may vote once per day.

PlayInTheDells.com Athlete of the Week Nominees: June 3-9

Sadie Willborn, Belmont softball: Sadie allowed one run over two games and 13 innings pitched as Belmont took home a division five state championship this past weekend. In the 15-0 semi-final win over Tri-County, she allowed two hits while striking out ten. From the plate, Sadie went two of four with three RBIs. Sadie then allowed one run on four hits in the 7-1 win over Blair-Taylor in the division 5 championship. She again went two of four from the plate.

Allison Tillema, Horicon softball: Allison compiled 20 strikeouts over 14 innings pitched as she led Horicon to its second consecutive softball championship. In the 7-3 semi-final win over Thorp, Allison pitched all seven innings, striking out seven batters in the process. She followed that up with 13 strikeouts in the 13-4 win over Mishicot in the division four championship. Allison also knocked out a three run home run from the plate.

Casey Fountain, Poynette softball: Casey was exceptional from both the mound and the plate as Poynette captured division three gold this past weekend. She pitched a seven-inning shutout in a 7-0 win over Prescott in the semi-finals. She allowed two hits, and struck out 14. From the plate, she walked twice and stole a base. Casey pitched another seven-inning shutout as Poynette beat Campbellsport 4-0 to win division three gold. She only allowed one hit and struck out 13 batters. Casey went a perfect four of four from the plate in the championship game.

Chloe Evans, Seymour softball: Chloe was the big bat needed as Seymour won its first softball state championship in school history. In the 4-2 semi-final win over Ellsworth, she went two of four from the plate with an RBI. Chloe again went two of four in the 9-1 win over Monroe to capture division two gold. She hit a three-run home run to cap off the scoring for Seymour.

Sydney Supple, Oshkosh North softball: Sydney was incredible as she led Oshkosh North to a perfect 31-0 season and the division one state championship. Over three games, Sydney pitched all 21 innings, recording all three wins along the way. In the quarter-final, 10-0 shutout of Nicolet, Sydney allowed one hit while striking out 12 on the mound. She followed that up with a 13 strikeout performance in a 4-0 win over Kenosha Bradford/Reuter in the semi-finals. Oshkosh North then matched up with defending state champ Sun Prairie in the division one championship. The clash went into extra innings and Oshkosh North came away with a 4-2, nine-inning win. Sydney struck out 11 batters along the way, scattering four hits. From the plate, Sydney added four hits, five walks, and two RBIS throughout the championship weekend.
