WSN Senior Baseball Awards: Outfielder Finalists

Wisconsin Sports Network is proud to showcase the WSN Senior Baseball Awards.

The pre-season watch list has been trimmed down to five finalists. Winners are announced the week of the spring baseball state tournament.

WSN Senior Baseball Awards -- Outfielder Finalists:

Jack Krumbach, Madison Memorial -- Krumbach was a First Team All-Conference selection in the Big Eight Conference, repeating on the all-league list. As a senior, he hit .371 with eight extra-base hits, scoring a team-high 35 runs. He also stole 21 bases for the Spartans.

Tanner Peterson, Wilmot -- Peterson is a three-time, First Team All-Conference selection for the Panthers. He batted .468 this season with 7 home runs, 35 RBI, a total of 18 extra base hits, and an OPS of 1.494.

Joe Rebholz, Oshkosh West -- Rebholz really emerged as a senior for the Wildcats. After hitting .233 last season, he increased that to around .350 this year. He was rewarded with a spot on the First Team All-Conference list in the FVA as a unanimous selection.

Sam Stange, Eau Claire North -- An outstanding multi-sport athlete, Stange was the Player of the Year in the Big Rivers Conference this season. Helping the Huskies to the state tournament, he hit an incredible .522 this year with 5 home runs, 30 RBI, 29 runs scored, a total of 21 extra-base hits, and a 1.513 OPS. He was also the team's top pitcher, going 7-1 with a 2.03 ERA on the mound.

Miller Wallace, Oconomowoc -- Wallace was an Honorable Mention All-State choice last year and has already earned First Team all-league recognition in the Classic Eight this season. After hitting north of .400 a year ago, he's been extremely impressive once again this year.
