Kaukauna, which won the WIAA Division 2 state championship in 2016 and 2018, captured the Pools A-B title at the Wisconsin Basketball Yearbook Summer Tournament held last weekend in Marshfield.

Stratford, a school better known for its success on the football field, won the Pools C-D championship and showed it will continue to be a power on the basketball court after finishing 24-1 a year ago.

Logan Jedwabny

Pools A-B Most Valuable Player

Logan Jedwabny, 6-2, WG, Sr., Kaukauna

A three-year varsity performer for one of the state's elite programs, Jedwabny showed off his accurate shooting touch from beyond the three-point arc at Marshfield. He also scored off the dribble and played with great energy on defense. In five contests, Jedwabny averaged 19.2 points and made 18 three-point shots. Jedwabny averaged 17.2 points per game as a junior and earned second-team all-Fox Valley Association honors. He is hearing from several NCAA Division II programs, but has yet to receive a scholarship offer. That could change in the very near future, especially if he continues to light up the scoreboard like he did in Marshfield.

Caden Boser

Pools A-B All-Tournament Team

Caden Boser, 6-7, Sr., F, Eau Claire Memorial

Boser appears poised for a monster senior season for a very good Eau Claire Memorial squad. He averaged 22.6 points in five games in Marshfield and was able to score from deep and in the post. He finished with nine three-point baskets and was nearly unstoppable in the paint as he finished with 28 points in the Old Abes' Pools A-B title-game loss to Kaukauna. Boser owns a NCAA Division I scholarship offer from Milwaukee and figures to pick up additional offers this summer due to his combination of size and skill.

Anthony Posteluk

Anthony Posteluk, 6-0, Sr., G, Marshfield
One of the key performers on a very balanced Marshfield squad, Posteluk led the Tigers in scoring at the WBY Tournament, netting 56 points in four games. He was able to score from the perimeter, knocking down four three-point shots in the first half alone in a 67-62 win over Kaukauna. A two-year varsity performer for coach Scott Scheuer entering his senior season, Posteluk's ability to score from deep will be a key ingredient in Marshfield's bid to repeat as champion of the Wisconsin Valley Conference.

Malik Odetunde, 6-2, Sr., G/F, Verona
An elusive, slashing wing player who gets points in bunches for the Wildcats, Odetunde is the top returning player for a Verona program now under the direction of first-year coach Eddie Singleton. After averaging 9.1 points and scoring a career-best 24 points in a win over Janesville Craig as a junior, Odetunde averaged 16.5 points in four games at Marshfield. He went off for 25 points in a triumph over Wisconsin Rapids Lincoln and figures to be one of the better scorers in the Big Eight Conference in 2019-20.

Evan Glaser, 6-6, F, Sr., Appleton East
One of the more improved players in Wisconsin in the 2020 class, Glaser continued to open eyes with his stellar performances in Marshfield. The versatile big man scored in the lane, but he also showed the ability to step outside and make shots. He finished with nine three-point baskets and averaged 14.5 ppg in four games for the Patriots. He had 17 points and three triples in an impressive 65-61 win over a very good Eau Claire Memorial squad. Glaser figures to be a focal point of the Patriots' offense in 2019-20 after playing primarily a secondary role on a senior-dominated squad during his junior season.

Jordan Majeed

Jordan Majeed, 5-11, Sr., G, Beloit Turner
An ultra-quick backcourt performer who consistently puts extreme defensive pressure on opponents with his quickness and speed, Majeed led a balanced and very talented Beloit Turner squad to a 3-1 record in Marshfield. Majeed and seniors Dai'Vontrelle Strong (6-6), DJ Wash (5-10) and Kenny Draeving (6-5) all performed well for coach Kenny Watkins as the Trojans notched wins over Appleton East, Mosinee and Stevens Point. Majeed is capable of going off in any particular game after averaging 18.4 ppg as a junior and earning first-team all-league honors in the Rock Valley Conference. He had a career-high 43 points in a win over McFarland last winter and teams with Wash to give Turner an exceptionally quick backcourt duo.

Zac Johnson

Zac Johnson, 6-3, Jr., WG, River Falls
A left-handed scoring machine, Johnson got off to a slow start in a loss to Kaukauna, netting just 10 points. But he more than picked up the slack in the next three outings, scoring 31 in a 57-55 win over Marshfield, 30 in a 49-47 triumph over Verona, and 21 in a 66-45 victory over Wisconsin Rapids Lincoln. Johnson has extremely deep shooting range and does an excellent job of using his physical strength, aggressiveness and quick first step to get to the basket and finish through contact. He averaged 14.9 ppg as a sophomore and earned second-team all-Big Rivers Conference recognition for a River Falls squad that tied Hudson for the league title.

Evan Vollendorf, 6-3, Sr., G, Stevens Point
After receiving unanimous first-team all-league honors as a junior in the Wisconsin Valley Conference, Vollendorf has turned in a solid spring for the Wisconsin Crusaders club program and SPASH. He was solid in virtually all aspects of the game for the Panthers in Marshfield, showing the ability to score from deep while also penetrating and either scoring in the lane or finding an open teammate. Vollendorf has excellent size and versatility as he can play either guard position. He averaged 17.4 ppg as a junior and figures to be SPASH's top performer again in 2019-20.

Dylan Lisitza, 5-11, Jr., G, Wisconsin Rapids Lincoln
Lisitza averaged 17.8 ppg as a sophomore for coach Dan Witter at Wisconsin Rapids and he showed off his ability to get buckets in Marshfield, scoring both from the perimeter and off effective moves around the basket. Lisitza figures to get plenty of help offensively this winter with the arrival of former Neenah standout Grant Flory, who sat out the WBY Tournament while recovering from an injury. With an additional scorer in the line-up, look for Lisitza and the Red Raiders to make vast improvement next winter.

Cyle Kowalski

Cyle Kowalski, 6-0, Jr., G, Mosinee
Teaming with senior Luke Spink in the Mosinee backcourt, Kowalski helped his club to the title in the Great Northern Conference last season. He has the ability to score and distribute and rebound. A first-team all-league player in the Great Northern Conference, Kowalski averaged 15.1 points, 4.1 rebounds and 3.2 assists while helping Mosinee to a 12-0 league record under coach Andy Bruess. He buried a three-point shot in the second overtime to help Mosinee defeat Stevens Point, 56-53. He finished that contest with a game-high 26 points.

Jacob Newhouse

Jacob Newhouse, 6-6, Sr., F, Kaukauna
A very consistent and productive player who can positively affect the outcome of a game with his scoring, rebounding and passing, Newhouse is a difficult match-up for opponents because of his ability to score from beyond the three-point arc or in the post. He possesses solid physical strength and athleticism and gives Kaukauna coach Mike Schalow a third scoring option to go along with senior classmates Keaton Ferris and Logan Jedwabny in the Ghosts' prolific offensive attack. Newhouse was particularly effective in the Ghosts 67-62 loss to Marshfield, scoring 19 points and drilling three triples.

Pools C-D Most Valuable Player

Vaughn Breit, 6-5, Sr., F, Stratford

It was one solid performance after another for Breit at the WBY Tournament in Marshfield. He led the Tigers to a 5-0 record and displayed the ability to positively affect the game with his defense, rebounding, passing and scoring. In Stratford's 61-47 victory over Iola-Scandinavia in the Pools C-D championship game, Breit finished with 31 points, three baskets from outside the three-point arc and made all four of his foul shots. Breit teams with 6-foot-5 senior classmate Ben Barten to give Stratford one of the best frontcourt duos in the state.

Max Nelson

Pools C-D All-Tournament Team

Max Nelson, 6-8, Soph., F, Appleton North

Nelson keeps growing and developing his game. He's up to 6-feet, 8-inches now and says he could top out around 6-10. His ability to play facing the basket and score both from outside the arc and off the dribble are very impressive assets for such a young, big player. He scored 65 points in four games for the Lightning, which went 3-1 after dropping a one-point decision to Iola-Scandinavia in their first game in Marshfield. Nelson, without question, will be one of the state's top class of 2022 collegiate prospects as his game continues to progress under the guidance of coach Chris Kellett.

Justin Sivertson

Justin Sivertson, 6-2, Sr., G, Iola-Scandinavia
An emerging backcourt performer who can score, pass and defend, Sivertson battled illness to play at a very high level in Marshfield. He earned unanimous first-team all-Central Wisconsin East Conference honors as a junior after averaging 18.4 points, 5.7 rebounds and 4.6 assists while helping Iola-Scandinavia to a 22-2 record under coach Sam Bertsch. In Marshfield, Sivertson led Iola-Scandinavia to a 4-1 record by averaging 17.2 ppg and drilling a total of 17 three-point shots. His ability to handle the ball, find open teammates and make shots is highly impressive.

Logan White, 6-4, Jr., G/F, Wausau West
One of the top performers for a balanced Wausau West squad in Marshfield, White begins his junior season as a two-year varsity performer for coach Nate Lemmens at Wausau West. He averaged 9.7 points per game as a sophomore and earned honorable mention all-Wisconsin Valley Conference honors. At the WBY Tourney, he teamed with juniors Jacob Rapp (6-1), Peter Fuchs (6-1) and Max Helke (6-0) to form a solid nucleus as the Warriors went 3-1. White has good size and strength, traits that serve him well on the perimeter and around the basket.

Josh Woller

Josh Woller, 5-10, Jr., PG, Oconto
Though on the smaller side, Woller plays with a very good pace to his game. He can stop-and-start to shed defenders, makes good decisions with the ball in his hands and is a capable scorer, both from deep and off the bounce. Woller battled a back injury to play well in Marshfield, helping his squad to a 2-2 record behind strong additional play from teammates Caleb Moe and Preston Wusterbarth. Woller averaged 15.2 ppg as a sophomore and figures to be a leader for new Oconto coach Matt Geniesse over the next two seasons.

Michael Ouimette

Michael Ouimette, 6-4, G/F, Sr., Lakeland
The son of former Marshfield Columbus and Ashland coach Larry Ouimette and current Lakeland girls' coach Melissa Ouimette, Michael Ouimette is a skilled and versatile wing prospect who averaged 13.0 points as a junior after missing his sophomore season with an injury. The honorable mention all-Great Northern Conference pick led a balanced attack for the Thunderbirds in Marshfield by averaging 11 points per game. If Ouimette gets some help from sharpshooter Collin Quade and improving junior guard Alex Fortier, among others, Lakeland could be a factor in the race for the Great Northern title in 2019-20.

Jalen Womack, 6-1, Soph., G, Menasha
A key player as a freshman for the varsity team at Menasha, Womack turned in some strong performances for the Bluejays in Marshfield. His ability to handle the ball, see the floor and score with either hand around the rim were evident as he led Menasha in scoring with 18 points in a loss to Appleton North and 16 points in a triumph over Lakeland. Womack averaged 6.3 ppg as a freshman, but figures to take on a much bigger scoring load for coach Sam Koslowski as a sophomore due to graduation loss of several talented players, including Concordia-St. Paul recruit Jacob Everson.

Justin Sullivan

Justin Sullivan, 5-8, Sr., G, Medford
Sullivan used his outstanding quickness to get around defenders to score in the lane and from the perimeter while helping Medford to a 2-2 record. He scored in double figures in three of the four games for the Raiders, including 14 in a loss to Iola-Scandinavia and 12 in victory over Menasha. Sullivan averaged 8.5 ppg as a junior for coach Ryan Brown at Medford and teams with returnees Peyton Kuhn (5-11), Doug Way (6-2) and Onyi Ekwueme (5-11) to give Medford a solid core of players to build around for 2019-20.

Chandler Schmidt, 6-2, Sr., G/F, Stratford
With Ben Barten out of the lineup, Schmidt provided some offensive punch to go along with Vaugh Breit. He finished with 10 points in a triumph over Kaukauna II and averaged 9.1 ppg over the five games the Tigers played in Marshfield. Mostly known as a strong passer and tough defender, Schmidt is coming off a strong junior season in which he averaged 7.9 points, 2.3 rebounds and 3.2 assists while helping Stratford to a 24-1 record. With a 3-to-1 assist-to-turnover ratio, Schmidt picked up second-team all-league honors last season in the Marawood South Conference.

Pools E-F Most Valuable Player

Matthew Kissner, 6-4, Sr., F, Pittsville

Scoring the winning basket in the closing seconds of the Pools E-F title game was impressive, but even more impressive was the overall showing Kissner put forth in leading the Panthers to a 5-0 record in Marshfield. The versatile forward showed off the ability to score off cuts to the basket, with his back to the basket and from the perimeter. After averaging 21.2 points per game as a junior and earning second-team all-Central Wisconsin South Conference honors as a junior, Kissner averaged 21.4 ppg at the WBY Tourney and finished with eight three-point baskets in five games for coach Mark Denniston and the Panthers.

Caleb Williams

Pools E-F All-Tournament Team

Caleb Williams, 6-2, Sr., G, Wild Rose

One of the better backcourt athletes in Wisconsin in the class of 2020, Williams excited the crowd at Columbus Catholic with a terrific dunk in transition in one of the four victories the Wildcats posted in Marshfield. He finished the tournament averaging 19.5 points and swishing 13 three-point shots. He also had several crowd-pleasing blocked shots. Williams is a three-year varsity performer at Wild Rose who averaged 18.6 points as a junior on the way to earning first-team all-Central Wisconsin South Conference status.

Jordan Denniston, 6-1, Soph., G, Pittsville
Denniston was on fire from deep as he finished with 15 made three-point baskets in five games for the Panthers. He also averaged 13.2 points per game to compliment to scoring exploits of Kissner. The son of Pittsville coach Mark Denniston, Jordan Denniston is a terrific perimeter shooter with good size. As a freshman, he averaged 6.5 ppg while helping the Panthers to a 12-11 record.

Matthew Waldera

Matthew Waldera, 6-5, Jr., F, Blair-Taylor
An athletic, skilled wing prospect who can get to the rim and finish through contact thanks to his physical strength and jumping ability, Waldera also showed the ability to make perimeter shots and he finished with three made shots from beyond the arc in two different games for the Wildcats. A first-team all-Dairyland Conference performer as a sophomore for coach Randy Storlie, Waldera veraged 15.8 points per game while helping Blair-Taylor to a 24-2 record and the league title. He averaged 15.4 ppg at Marshfield and proved to be one of the better class of 2021 prospects at the event.

Cade Faber, 6-2, WG, Jr., Abbotsford
A bouncy wing-guard prospect who had a couple of dunks and scored at a prolific level for Abbotsford at the WBY Tourney, Faber earned second-team all-Marawood North Conference recognition as a sophomore after averaging 13.8 points, 6.6 rebounds and 2.1 assists. He torched Assumption for 31 points and Greenwood for 30 in victories in Marshfield while averaging 23.3 ppg over the four games the Falcons played. As faber continues to develop his skills and matures a bit physically, he figures to be among the better prospects in northern Wisconsin in another year.

Weston Schmitz, 5-10, Jr., G, Greenwood
Schmitz earned plenty of playing time as a sophomore for the varsity squad at Greenwood, and he proved to be one of the Indians' top performers in Marshfield. Scoring 57 points in four games, Schmitz led Greenwood in scoring at 14.3 ppg. He was able to make some three-points in addition to getting to the basket and scoring in transition. Schmitz averaged 5.0 ppg as a sophomore for coach Brad Helsten and figures to be one of Greenwood's primary scoring options in 2019-20.

Cody Peters

Cody Peters, 6-0, Sr., G, Mishicot
Peters put up enormous numbers for his Mishicot squad in Marshfield and helped his team to a 2-2 record. He scored 17 points in a 48-45 win over Assumption and finished with 24 in a loss to Pittsville. The honorable mention all-Big East Conference performer averaged 16.5 ppg as a junior for coach John Haack, and Mishicot will need that type of production once again out of Peters in order to move up in the conference standings.

Gavin Fravert, 6-3, Soph., F, Marshfield III
The younger brother of former Marshfield and current UW-Oshkosh standout Brian Fravert, Gavin Fravert shot the ball exceptionally well in Marshfield while leading his Marshfield III squad to a 3-1 record. He made 13 three-point baskets during the tournament and averaged 12.5 ppg.

Reed Duellman, 5-8, Soph., G, Assumption
Duellman was a bright spot for an extremely young Assumption squad that went 0-4 in Marshfield. The quick sophomore backcourt performer scored 58 points and made 14 three-point baskets for the Royals, including five in the second half of a 48-45 loss to Mishicot. Duellman's ability to make shots and put some pressure on the defense with his quickness will be key for veteran coach Gary Weisenbeck and the Royals.

Austin Gibson, 6-1, Jr., WG, Wittenberg-Birnamwood
A physically strong wing player who can get to the basket and score while also knocking down some perimeter shots, Gibson was the Chargers' top scorer in Marshfield as he netted 51 points in four games for an average of 12.8 ppg. Gibson played major minutes for coach Garrett Rogowski as a sophomore and averaged 8.0 ppg. He teams with senior guard Brendan Resch (5-10) to provide experience and scoring prowess in the Chargers' backcourt.

Ethan Breheim

Ethan Breheim, 6-5, Sr., G/F, Alma Center Lincoln
A first-team all-league performer in the Dairyland Conference as a junior, Breheim is a versatile wing player with very good jumping ability. He averaged 19.3 points, 14.4 rebounds and 2.2 assists while helping Alma Center Lincoln to a 13-10 record as a junior, and figures to have another banner season along with classmate Justin Rowekamp in 2020-21. Breheim has no trouble finishing above the rim and can get into the lane off the bounce for pull-up mid-range jump shots.

Wyatt Drexler, 6-3, Jr., G/F, Columbus Catholic
Drexler saw some varsity playing time off the bench for a Columbus Catholic program that finished second in the WIAA Division 5 State Tournament and went 26-3 under coach Joe Konieczny. Drexler has an extremely long, lanky frame and the ability to ring up three-point baskets in a hurry. He led the Dons in scoring during the WBY Tourney and finished with 11 made three-point field goals during the event.

Brock Flater, 5-10, Jr., G, Lake Holcombe
A second-team all-Lakeland East Conference performer who led Lake Holcombe in scoring in 2019-20 by averaging 16.6 ppg, Flater was absolutely on fire in a 50-46 loss to Wild Rose. He finished the contest with 26 points and made six three-point shots, three in each half. Flater is one of several capable scorers for coach Joy Webster at Lake Holcombe and he figures to be among the elite three-point shots in the Lakeland East in 2019-20.
